Wow, long time no update
Been busy - let's just say that I got a new job and got away from psycho coworker. I'm in a temp position so things are still up in the air, here's a summation of what happened:
January: Started new job, tried to keep old job, got wires crossed because I thought I could take a Leave of Absence. Kept old job until I got enough confidence I could make a go, then I literally got offered this term position a week after I quit.
February: Resigned from McCreary, got into a car accident February 28 because a grader blinded me on a one-way highway. Not impressed, but I walked away and I was scared I was going to get in a head-on. Foot still hurts.
March: Moved out of McCreary, back at home with mummy and daddy while I did casual work all over the southern half of the province. Most of my stuff went into storage. Dodger was not impressed I left him with my parents, but he's noticeably chubbier since hanging out with my dad/niece who gives him lots of dog cookies in one setting.
April: Got new place in Southport early April, moved. Started new position in Early April. I used to live on base like twenty years ago so I'm familiar to the layout.
May thus far: Went to Regina for FanExpo; my publisher pulled out and I got the table to myself. Got pulled from one term to another (basically just a different rotation) so I'm in the middle of a stretch, but I've worked days upon days and at one station there's no on call, so it's easy to catch up on sleep (relatively, lol).
There's probably more - been busy with work/editing/moving in. Oh, and whoever said Dogs don't get jealous are completely wrong - I love my dog but when I came home after the weekend in Regina he attacked my sandals for leaving him behind. It was a pet friendly hotel, but that wasn't the point...
