Smallville
Gilgamesh by Koi - Clex post-rift futurefic, wherein Lex finds an ancient Kryptonian epic. Using the information contained in it, he sets out to seduce Clark. It's excellently written, and really intricate, and I honestly cry when I read the passages from the epic, because Koi nails that style so perfectly that I am amazed by the lack of fragmentation. I have spent so long reading Mesopotamian pieces full of holes, and to have a piece that is so similar and yet so miraculously complete... It breaks my heart. Oh, right, *cough* also it has Lex and Clark in it, and they are great. WIP.
Lexunzel by
beckaandzac - Clex fairytale. Cute and sweet. Once upon a time, there was a prince who was locked in a high tower by his evil father. Then a handsome young man came by and tried to rescue the prince, asking him to let down his hair to make a ladder. There was just one problem...
Crossovers
I added 4 new fics to the
Jared/Dean master list. Yay.
Balance by
janissa11 - It can't make it onto the Jarean fic list, but this has the Js switching places with the Winchesters, and I like the way she explores the worlds so far, and how they figure out what happened. WIP.
Unstoppable by
janissa11 - So, uh. What if Jared and Jensen and all your other favorite CW actors had superpowers and went to Sky High (except without the actual Sky High movie kids)? And what if Jensen's power was being sodamnhot and Jared's power was the commanding puppy eyes of doom? Well, the answer is obviously that their powers would combine to be nice and kinky. WIP.
We're Not In Kansas Anymore by Dr. Coffin - I'm actually not hugely into this story, but it is the only Smallville/Sky High crossover I've found, so I thought I would point it out.
Sky High
Warren vs. the birthday by Jeune Chat - This one amused me enough that I read it even though it's in first person. Have I mentioned the hate-on I've had for first person these last few years? Anyhow, short, fluffy, funny.
The Book Of The Dead by Jeune Chat - And this one made me cry. Principal Powers rethinks her strategies, in order to save her students' lives. I like it when people actually worldbuild for this fandom, and manage to make me shiver.
Under Your Skin by Azul Tigress - This one is long enough that I can't say I agree with all of it, but I enjoyed it. I guess I am a sucker for bodyswitch. Warren, Layla, and Lash get all mixed up with each other. (Although I do feel the need to add that some of the issues of sexual non-informed consent due to the switching are not dealt with as seriously as they should be, for anyone who is squicky about that.)
