in a world fast growing more obsessed with pretty things and quick pleasures, the greatest joy still comes from things slowly built.
sometimes the place that one least expects to find this is on syndicated television, but if you look hard enough and dredge past the pre-conceived notions, there are some tales that have take over 6 years to unfurl. Others that have spawned nearly a decade.
they all begin as words, as dreams carefully forged and then left to cool and strengten over time.
as the images die away, it is back to a slightly yellowed page, smudged ink and the faint homely smell of aging wood pulp.
either way, it is home.
