It was supposed to be a one shot, but it got too long so I spilt it up into four parts. Not really that complicated as the summary might sound to be. Idk! ): just one more part to go!
Part one /
Part two -
Part Three.
The club’s party had ended, but there are still people that are hanging around. The closing hours weren’t up yet anyway. The members of Super Junior trotted back to each of their individual or shared make up rooms, tittering excited to each other about the performance and response given.
They had each entered their room slowly, but many of them gave worried looks to Leeteuk. The male couldn’t care less, his fingers digging deep in his pockets.
‘Where did that pack go…?’
A large hand clamped on his shoulder suddenly. But Leeteuk didn’t stop his actions. His fingers went to pat his vest pockets. It wasn’t there oddly enough. Leeteuk frowned, as he made a move towards his own personal make up room, but the hand didn’t let go.
Leeteuk sighed in frustration. “If you would excuse me, Kangin.” Kangin’s eyes were curious and calculating.
“…You’re not Leeteuk-hyung.”
A rude snort escaped Leeteuk’s mouth.
“Leeteuk-hyung would never call me by my stage name alone. Who’re you?”
A flick of the wrist, and Kangin’s hand was slapped off rather harshly. Leeteuk dusted the place where Kangin’s hand used to be, a cocky smirk on his face directed to Kangin. “What are you talking about? I am Leeteuk.”
Aah. Kangin’s angry face was undeniably handsome as well. “Don’t lie! Where’s Leeteuk?” Leeteuk raised an eyebrow, before he turned back and reached out to open the door. “Once again, Kangin. I am Leeteuk. Understand it already.”
The door was then pushed close, but before the lock could click, Kangin had already kicked the door open before slamming it close. The sound of the door hitting should be loud enough to attract members who have rooms nearby. “It’s not funny anymore, Leeteuk! Don’t play mind games with me!”
Mm… So Jungsu and Kangin actually play games together? Not bad…
“I’m not, Kangin. I’m tired of repeating myself. Get out of my room.”
Kangin snorted. “No. Something’s wrong with you today, Leeteuk. You’re making everyone worried.” “Even so, it’s none of your business.” Leeteuk snorted uncaringly.
Ah. There’s another pack on the table. Leeteuk’s hand reached out to grab it, when Kangin had grabbed the box quickly. A frown settled.
“Tell me what’s wrong with you. Then I’ll give back your box. You’ve never smoked before anyway. Since when did you have this horrible habit?!”
“Give the fucking box back right now, Kim Youngwoon! I’m not in the mood to be playful like how you and Jungsu are. I want my stick.”
“You’ve never cussed before neither! You’re the one that scolded me for cussing! Who’re you!? And why are you referring to yourself as another person!?”
Leeteuk sighed heavily, his hand covering his face. Somehow now, instead of being more interesting, Kangin seemed to be becoming an annoyance for asking so many questions. “I want my stick first.”
“No.”
Leeteuk glared at Kangin. “Then I’ll get my own stick from Yoochun.” He made a move for the door, and Kangin blocked him, his bigger size towering over Leeteuk’s petite figure. “Tell me, right now!”
Sheesh. What a fucking annoyance.
Well…whatever. Whatever that happens between Jungsu and him wasn’t his problem anyway. Kangin was pissing him royally off right now.
“Me and Jungsu are two different people, moron. I’m Leeteuk. I’ve got personality issues with me, myself and I. Jungsu was normal. He wanted to be different, but he couldn’t do it. So I came up. I was daring, and rash. And I only surface whenever Jungsu puts makeup on. Just presume that the makeup’s like a mask for him to hide himself. So either fucking move away from that door, or give me my pack or else I won’t hesitate to hit you with that broom.”
“…You expect me to believe all of that?” Of course Kangin had to be disbelieving. It seemed too untrue to be true anyway.
Leeteuk growled angrily, startling the taller male. “You believe it or not, I don’t give a damn. I want my fucking pack!” Kangin frowned, before he passed the box of cancer sticks to Leeteuk, who fumbled for one stick before lighting it up hastily.
A deep inhale was taken, and Leeteuk seemed to be a little relieved when he had sucked in the poisonous air from the cancer stick. “…You know that could kill you.” Leeteuk didn’t answer to Kangin’s remark for a while.
“…If this could kill me first, I don’t mind.”
Silence was upheld in the room painfully, as Leeteuk smoked his stick peacefully while Kangin just stood there absorbing the information from him. The stick got shorter gradually, and Leeteuk crushed the stick suddenly on the nearby ashtray.
“Don’t fret over this too much. Darling Jungsu will be back whilst I remove the makeup.” Leeteuk murmured lightly, walking into the connecting toilet and coming back out with a basic of clear water and a towel.
Hands that looked so much like Jungsu’s but yet isn’t slowly moved the pad soaked in the eye makeup removal across his right eye. Kangin could see the black and red eyeliner that made Leeteuk look so beautiful getting wiped away, along with the dots of glitter.
The foundation was gone, the eyeliner was gone, the lip gloss was gone and the lip gloss was gone. The blond temporary hairspray was gone as well. And all Kangin could see was the back view of Leeteuk, who had submerged his face into the basin and was now wiping his face with the towel.
Leeteuk’s fingers slowly pulled the towel away, and Kangin saw the usual Leeteuk back again. The gentleness and the light happiness in his eyes weren’t mistakable. Kangin accidentally let a small gasp loose from his mouth, startling the other man.
“Ah, Kangin-sshi! What are you doing in my room?”
The sharp look overflowing with confidence and cockiness was gone, replaced with a soft and gentle look. It was like slight magic to Kangin, seeing the familiarity in the right side of Leeteuk’s face.
Even the voice was different from the ‘Leeteuk’ earlier. It was kinder now. Strangely, the Leeteuk now didn’t seem to remember what had happened just now. “…Leeteuk…hyung?” Kangin didn’t know why his voice was trembling slightly. But strangely, Kangin noticed the slightly guilty and ashamed look in Jungsu’s eyes before it faded.
“Yes? When did you enter my room, Youngwoon-ah?”
Kangin didn’t say anything in response. This was the real ‘Leeteuk’ alright. Or maybe Jungsu, he should say. So this meant that whatever the ‘Leeteuk’ had said just now was actually…real?
“Hyung… I’m still… your best buddy right?”
Jungsu looked confused, suspicion and a slight amount of fear in his eyes. Kangin swallowed. There was so many things that he didn’t notice before in Jungsu.
“Of course, Youngwoon-yah. What’s… wrong?”
Should he ask… or not? Kangin was really curious. Was he the only one that knew? Judging from the expressions and the actions from the other members just now, Kangin knew that they didn’t knew about this.
“…Then… we shouldn’t hide anything from each other… right?”
Jungsu’s eyes held desperation and fear, but it was masked carefully once again. His delicate fingers held the towel abit too tightly, small droplets of water leaking out from his hand.
“…Of… course…”
Kangin swallowed again. It was now or never then.
“Do you have… split personalities?”
