It was supposed to be a one shot, but it got too long so I spilt it up into four parts. Not really that complicated as the summary might sound to be. Idk! ):

Part one /
-

Part Two.

“I’ve got you, under my skin!”

Screams and cheers erupted. The sound of clapping flooded the whole club.

“That was Mirotic, performed by Dong Bang Shin Ki!”

Leeteuk shifted his legs, tense and ready to move when the signal was given. Members from the said group, Dong Bang Shin Ki, shuffled in one by one through the pathway behind the stage, passing by Leeteuk.

Tired smiles, and words of encouragement were exchanged, but it wasn’t much. Both Leeteuk and the members of Dong Bang Shin Ki knew very well that those didn’t work before a performance. It would only make them more nervous.

Yunho, the leader of Dong Bang Shin Ki, gave Leeteuk a slap on the arm before he walked away with the rest of the members. Leeteuk didn’t react to the slap. Instead he only shifted to get comfortable with his surroundings.

His lean body, clad only in a red velvet vest with gold buttons and a glittery leather jacket, rested against the wall. Ah. How he wished that he could have a stick now. One of his high heeled shoes was propped against the wall, while the other was on the ground.

This is troublesomely annoying. Leeteuk closed his eyes, and let his head rest on the wall. The dim light shone, showing the dark inked tattoo trailing from his neck to his waist that contrasted with his pale skin.

“And now, for the most anticipated performance of the night!”

The screams got louder.

How irritating.

“Club No.1, Leeteuk from Super Junior!!”

Must that annoying MC mention his club group while introducing him? Couldn’t Leeteuk suffice? But at least this meant more popularity for his group. There are pretty much competitors in this club.

Sighing, Leeteuk got off the wall before he walked out the way towards the stage, meeting the MC halfway. Her face was slightly red, her make up slightly smudged. A soft ‘Good Luck’ passed his ears, and like always, Leeteuk ignored her.

A burst of sweat, tension and hormones hit Leeteuk hard when he stepped out finally. And the large crowd of people did not disappoint him, as always.

The song played, and Leeteuk shut his mind off. What matters, was the beat of the song now, when he’s on stage.

-

“That was a good performance!” Eunhyuk patted his back happily as he passed Leeteuk a bottle of water. Leeteuk didn’t reply, his fingers opening the cap before he downed the water. “Woah, you’ve must have been really thirsty.”

Leeteuk didn’t reply. The higher ups just informed them that they were going to do a special closing performance later, as it was an anniversary of the club today. As usually, Leeteuk would vanish, along with the makeup off Jungsu’s face now.

Too bad for Jungsu that the makeup wasn’t going to be removed anytime soon.

“Hyung? Are you alright?”

Tsk. Annoying. Can’t he shut the hell up already? Leeteuk closed his eyes, his vision cutting off from the rest of the world. Eunhyuk didn’t say anything, but the whisperings started soon after.

“…Is Leeteuk-hyung alright?”

“I don’t know. Maybe he’s just really tired today…”  Donghae. Figures that he would ask his boyfriend first.

“Mm… Maybe…”

Leeteuk didn’t care at the obvious concern in Eunhyuk’s voice. That was Jungsu’s job. Not his. There was a shuffle of footsteps, and he could hear Eunhyuk protesting. “Move. I’ll see what happened to him.”

Hm. Kangin. That deep and mellow voice was unmistakably Kangin’s. “Leeteuk-hyung, what’s wrong with you?” Leeteuk cracked open an eye, looking unbelievably sexy under the dim lighting. The air was tense, and the members in the room were silent.

“…I don’t know. Won’t you find it out for me?”

Ahah. The expression on Kangin’s face was hilarious. “Stop fooling around. The members are getting worried.” Leeteuk smirked, closing his eyes before leaning his head on the wall behind him again.

The growl in Kangin’s voice was just wonderful. Leeteuk could picture the face Kangin had too. “Don’t joke around! What’s wrong with you, dammit!” Aah... Kangin might be the best friend and crush of kind Jungsu, but definitely not with Leeteuk.

Leeteuk stood up abruptly, making Kangin recoil back for a moment. He opened his eyes after a moment, and Kangin’s handsome face sharpened into sight. A lazy smirk hung on his face, before he sauntered out of the room.

“Wait! Where are you going! Boss wants us back!”

“Getting a breather.” The last sentence was murmured before the door closed, leaving the members in the room curious and shocked. “Leeteuk-hyung is really weird today…” Eunhyuk spoke, breaking the silence.

Kangin didn’t react, his eyes still on the door.

“…"

-

The night air was cool against his hot skin. Leeteuk had long removed the leather jacket, said jacket being placed on the railing on the balcony. His fingers shook the cancer stick, as the glowing red end dropped ashes onto the metal railing.

It was a starless night tonight, Leeteuk noted. Jungsu would be disappointed. He scoffed at the thought.

“Since when do you smoke?”

“…"

Leeteuk didn’t respond, but he lifted his arm and placed the cigarette into his mouth to inhale. The sound of footsteps, and there was a body heat beside him. Since when did Shindong bother so much?

Shindong stared at the dark skies, fingering the black jacket on the railing. No words were exchanged, and it was a comforting silence, just the way how Leeteuk wanted it to be. The cancer stick gradually became shorter as time passed.

Thick clouds of smoke were blown out from Leeteuk’s lips, before it slowly dissipated into the air.

Just when Shindong was about to say something, the door burst open, light illuminating the two figures standing on the balcony. Kangin stood there, his handsome face questioning. “…The performance is going to start soon.”

Leeteuk sighed heavily, as he stubbed the cigarette stick into the ashtray. Shindong passed the black jacket to Leeteuk meanwhile, and the smaller male took it and walked away without a single word.

Shindong didn’t say anything, as the door swung close softly.

Maybe knowing too much sometimes wasn’t good. Especially about Jungsu’s self identity secret. But since Jungsu wanted it to be kept as a secret, Shindong would fulfill his wish.

Sometimes he wondered if he was spoiling Jungsu too much just because he liked...

No.

Loved him.

Shindong opened the door before walking back into the noisy club.
