13 Kibum didn't know how long he had been sitting there in the alley, letting the younger one sob into his shirt; he didn't really care anyway.
Yesung fell asleep after some time, leaning against Kibum with his fingers still clenched into the vampire's shirt, his tears slowly drying as silence returned.
Letting out a quiet sigh, Kibum searched through his pocket with one hand, wanting to give Leeteuk a call to calm him down.
Finding his cellphone, he adjusted Yesung again in his lap so he could talk comfortably to the oldest lycan whose franatic voice was on the other end of the line.
"Yeah, I found him," Kibum answered calmly, "I'll start heading home now, see you guys soon."
He ended the call quickly and stuffed the phone back into his pocket.
Then he cradled the sleeping lycan, or was it vampire now, carefully in his arms and started walking home.
***********************
"Oh my, you really found him." Leeteuk welcomed Kibum at the front door, relief written all over his face as he ushered the vampire in.
"Is everything all right?"
The lycan closed the door quickly before turning towards Yesung who lay fast asleep in Kibum's arms. Brushing the younger's bangs out of his face he carefully checked for any wounds.
"He's really cold, better take him to bed."
Kibum nodded slightly, wishing the coldness was just due to the cold weather but he knew better than that.
Looking around a bit he tried to start a new conversation, wanting to avoid what happened. He would tell them, yeah, but not right now.
"Where are the others?" he asked finally, slightly confused. He had thought everyone would be up.
"I put them to bed," Leeteuk smiled. "They were dead on their feet and I promised to watch over the phone in case you call."
Opening the door to Yesung's shared room, Leeteuk motioned for Kibum to be quiet before stepping in. Ryeowook was lying fast asleep on his bed at the other end of the room.
Gently Kibum placed the lycan onto the bed and tugging the sheets over him. He stood up again and followed Leeteuk out of the room in silence.
Kibum felt increasingly uneasy with every step he took towards to the kitchen.
Leeteuk surely wanted to know what had happened and it made Kibum sick to think about what the lycan's reaction would be.
How could he tell someone like Leeteuk he had literary 'killed' the youngest in order keep him alive?
His head started hurting and he felt tired all of a sudden; the happiness from finding Jongwoon again was finally outweighted by the exhaustion from the long run and the stress of the day.
Kibum sighed quietly.
When they finally entered the kitchen Leeteuk turned around, ready to hammer the vampire with questions but he stopped halfway to speaking.
His expression softed as he noticed the tired look in Kibum's eyes and he smiled a bit.
"Go to bed first," Leeteuk spoke, eyeing the vampire closely. "You look dead on your feet. We will talk everything over tomorrow, when everyone is up again."
Kibum smiled thankfully at the older man before leaving the kitchen, grabbing a blanket on the way. Once he laid down on the couch, he was asleep in almost an instant.
****************
The next morning came way to early for Kibum as he was shaken roughly from his short sleep. Opening his eye slowly he stared into Ryeowook's panicked eyes, the lycan kneeling in front of the couch.
"Morning?" he mumbled incoherently as he was forcefully pulled up.
"Kibum!" The young lycan shook him again. "There is something wrong with Yesung!" Ryeowook was on the verge of crying.
Kibum finally was awake enough to realise what the younger man just said. "What?" he asked, sitting up properly.
"I woke up during the night and saw he was back," Ryeowook started to explain, "So I went over, but he was wincing in his sleep and thrashing around. I thought it was another nightmare so I tried to wake him up but when he opened his eyes they were pure red and he was staring at me." The lycan shuddered. "Then he suddenly jumped up and grabbed my neck; I don't know what happened but I just ran out of the room and locked the door."
Kibum stared at Ryeowook in horror as the lycan looked at him in confusion.
"It was like he wanted to attack me, but Yesung doesn't attack people," he whispered, worry clearly shown on his face.
Kibum nodded mutely. He was panicking inside. He didn't know what to do. Was there something after all that went wrong last night? He frowned slightly, his headache coming back.
"He needs to drink," suddenly said a voice from behind them. Kibum snapped his head around in surprise.
How long had Hangeng been standing there?
The older vampire stared at him with dark knowing eyes, "And hurry up before he's out of the window finding something else to drink, bloodlust isn't fun to deal with."
Nodding shortly Kibum stood up and went into the kitchen, ignoring Ryeowook's confused look for now, as he seached for some of the blood substitute.
Finding the dark red bottle in the cupboard he made his way back through the living room and down the hall.
Ryeowook was already in front of the door, unlooking it as Kibum came closer.
"I don't know what happened," he mumbled. "But please make him feel better.."
Kibum smiled at the lycan before stepping into the room.
It was dark inside and Kibum quickly scanned the room, finding Yesung on his bed curled up into a ball.
Slowly he stepped closer, ignoring the dark gaze and the snarling coming from the bed.
"Go away," Yesung hissed, his voice cracking before he broke out into a coughing fit.
Kibum winced at the sight in front of him. Guilt was nagging at him as he ignored the warning and stepped closer sitting down next to the other male.
Why hadn't he thought of feeding Yesung before? Not drinking was like not eating for a vampire and considering the amount of energy Yesung had used to stay alive and to heal his wounds it was only natural he was craving blood right then.
The younger man was hissing at him again as he sat down but Kibum ignored it and only handed over a full glass of liquid, urging Yesung to drink.
The dark haired lycan eyed him warily but finally gulped down the entire glass, making a face as he finished.
Kibum laughed quietly, handing him another glass. "Like I said, the taste isn't the best but it helps."
Yesung only frowned at him but accepted the next glass without hesitating this time and moved a bit closer.
Smiling slightly Kibum placed his arm aroung Yesung's shoulder and pulled the lycan close as he watched the other's eyes slowly turn darker again.
After finishing off the whole bottle Yesung was visibly calmer. Running one hand down his arm Kibum looked down at him gently nudging him in the side.
"Feeling better now? Ready to go out without scaring the wits out of Ryeowook?"
Yesung nodded as he leaned into Kibum a bit more, letting out a soft sigh.
"Yeah," he whispered, calm and collected by now, "Thank you."
"No need to thank me, it was Hangeng who gave me the tip, I was at a loss of what to do," Kibum chuckled before he pulled the other man up.
Yesung looked at him wide eyed. "They know?"
"Just Hangeng, at least I think he does but he figured out on his own," sighed Kibum. "But we have to tell them, and I don't think there will be much of a problem."
Even though he said that, Kibum felt uneasy inside, hoping the others would really understand.
As they stepped into the living room, they found the whole house was already awake, staring at them as if they had been waiting, what they had propably had been.
Yesung noticed Ryeowook sitting the closest to the door staring at him in worry.
"I'm sorry," Yesung whispered as he sat down next to him, "I didn't meant to do that."
Ryeowook just shook his head. "You don't have to be. I'm sorry." he mumbled quietly staring at the floor.
Yesung blinked confused. "Why?"
"It was my fault you ran away to start with," the lycan murmured. "You weren't meant to hear what I said. I never considered handing you over, I was just listing things that would stop the lycans from following you."
Yesung stared wide eyed at Ryeowook. "You never..?"
"No, of couse not," Ryeowook frowned. "I meant it when I said we'll go through this together."
Yesung had to swallow hard as a tear crept into his eyes.
"I'm sorry then," he mumbled, looking down. "For not trusting you."
Leeteuk shook his head sadly," It was a misunderstanding, we're just glad we have you back in one piece." Their alpha smiled.
"Care to share what happened?"
Yesung shifted uneasyly, averting his eyes before looking at Kibum, hoping the vampire would take care of the talking bit. He wasn't that good with this kind of stuff.
Noting Yesung's uneasiness Kibum swallowed hard before tuning towards his friends.
"Well.." he started. "I found him downtown where a lycan was rounding on him. Yesung was already unconscious so I snapped and killed the wolf.."
"Then..." he stopped for a short time, "I kind of had to turn him..." he trailed off as the eyes of the others went wide.
"You WHAT?" screamed Heechul, jumping on his feet and moving over, circling Yesung with wary eyes.
Wincing at the scream, Yesung shrunk back a bit.
"I had to," mumbled Kibum. "He was almost dead and I couldn't think of anything else to do...I just didn't wanted him to die.."
The others just stared in shock.
"So, what is he now?" Heechul finally broke the silence, poking at Yesung's ears. "He still has his ears so he's still partly lycan, but the eyes are too red....never heard of this before..." the red haired frowned, totally ignoring the incredulous stares from the others.
"Maybe 'vampcan'? No, that sounds wrong...." Heechul trailed off, thinking again.
"'Lypir'?" Ryeowook finally joined in, making Heechul smile.
"Brilliant," he said, ruffling the younger man's hair.
"Oh, come on," Heechul said, frowning at the others who remained stunned in silence and shock. "He's still Yesung, nothing changed other than his blood. Since when do we have a problem with vampires?"
Leeteuk was the first to recover. The oldest lycan chuckled softly, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, you're right, you're right. It was just quite a shock, but I should be used to it by now, right?"
Yesung felt a weight lifted from his mind at the words and one after another of his friends started smiling too. He smiled shyly and buried his face into Kibum's shoulder as the vampire smiled encouraging at him.
A soft brush at his hair made him look up again to find Donghae right next to him, staring at the bite marks right under his ear.
"Neat," the lycan exclaimed before noticing the new necklace around Yesung's neck.
"So that's the necklace Leeteuk sent for repair?" he asked, taking the ring between his fingers before staring dumbfounded at the engraving on the inside.
"So...if the necklace with Yesung when he came here," Donghae asked, eyeing the youngest lycan who turned into a light shade of pink. "Why does it have 'Kibum' written here?"
"Eh?" Heechul and Eunhyunk exclaimed, also crouching closer and staring at the ring.
"You knew each other beforehand?" Heechul grinned slyly. "Why haven't you told us?"
"I didn't know for sure," Kibum mumbled, pulling Yesung closer again as Donghae started searching for any other hints.
"It was at least ten years ago, if not even longer. I lived near the castle and we met in the forest for a few years with two others.." he trailed off.
"There are two others?" Sungmin piped up enthusiastically, but stopped as he noticed Yesung's pained expression.
"There were.." the youngest whispered. "My father killed them after he found out I was meeting vampires..."
Kibum nodded sadly, brushing through Yesung's hair before turning towards his friends again.
"I just recieved a letter saying they were dead, so I assumed Yesung was dead, too."
He smiled encouraging down at the lycan. "I'm just glad he isn't. I gave him the necklace shortly before I went away...and just before the others were.." He stopped as he felt Yesung's hand clutching his shirt.
There was a long silence as the group watched the two lovers sadly, giving them a moment to recover.
"So basically you were together when you were kids," Heechul said eventually, laughing out loud as Kibum's face turned red in an instant and an embarrassed whine escaped Yesung as he hid against his friend's shoulder.
********************
A few days passed by without any encounters with foreign lycans, calming the mood in the house down an bit.
Getting used to Yesung's new need for blood took a while but they coped after a few days. During that time they also shared in Yesung's discover and development of his vampire skills.
The first thing that appeared was the fast speed.
Eunhyunk and Donghae had quickly started a game to startle the youngest lycan and bet on which direction he would took off in and in which door he would slam.
Leeteuk quickly banned this game after Yesung crashed into four doors at full speed, breaking them.
The second skill wasn't recognized at first, even by Yesung himself;
well, turning invisible wasn't something meant to be noticed after all...
Leeteuk was the first to realise what was going on.
He had gone to get Yesung from his room after the lypir hadn't appear despite five summons when he slammed into something solid in the middle of the kitchen.
After some freaking from Leeteuk, some ignorance from Yesung and some sense from Hangeng they finally figured out that the youngest man had turned invisible but didn't know how to come back.
It took him two days to reappear, in the middle of the night in Ryeowook's bed, scaring the lycan to death.
It was perhaps half a week and a few training sessions from Kibum later when Ryeowook called them all into the kitchen for an important meeting.
"So what makes this meeting so important?" Sungmin teased as they all sat gathered around the kichen table.
Ryeowook rolled his eyes before he started speaking.
"I know how we get rid of the lycans from the castle," he spoke, gaining everyone's attention in an instant.
"Well, nobody knows what happens when a lycan gets bitten by a vampire, right?" He smirked. "Why don't we show them..?"
******************
The dark lycan was prowling around in the night.
He entered alley after alley, searching with his dark red eyes every corner of the streets for his prey.
He would be the one to kill the traitor; he was the strongest and the king would be pleased with him.
The dark one snickered.
A small shadow down the street caught his eye and he creeped closer, ears flat down and fangs bared.
Bingo.
The lycan snickered dangerously again as he watched the dark haired male wandering down the street.
This was going to be easier than he thought...
The boy seemed to be alone, swaying slightly and stopping here and there to catch his breath.
The lycan smirked.
Just a few more minutes and the dark lycan would be the king's right hand man.
The lycan tensed, bracing his muscles beneath his dark fur as he bent down a bit, ready to attack as the boy entered a small street.
Suddenly there were others, dark creatures with pure red eyes and sharp fangs pulling the lycan's prey deeper into the alley.
The lycan cursed silently, damn vampires.
He stopped behind a pile of boxes to watch the struggle with wary eyes.
He knew better than to fight against a vampire in bloodlust on his own, and these two where obviously in full rage based upon their eye colour.
The boy struggled with his attackers, trying to free himself as he was pushed against the wall, a hissing vampire above him.
The dark lycan stared as he watch sharp fangs dig down into the boy's neck and a sharp howl echoed through the dark street.
And suddenly there was silence.
The struggling stopped as the vampire pulled away letting the boy fall to the ground and ... the lycan stared.
He saw the boy slowly falling to one side but never reaching the ground.
The air wavered a bit and suddenly the boy was gone, turning into ash. The lycan had to cover his nose at the musty smell that washed over him.
Suddenly the red haired vampire turned around, staring precisely at the dark lycan, his eyes deep red and a dangerous snarl coming from his lips.
The lycan cursed as he apruptly turned around and stormed out of the alley.
He didn't notice the two pairs of smirking eyes following him as he stormed down the street.
The vampires turned around, calling out a name quietly before the air in front of them wavered again and the boy reappeared. He dusted off his clothes before leaving with the two vampires.
The lycan didn't notice the scene behind him.
His job was done; he just had to report what happened to the castle.
The traitor is gone, bitten to death by vampires in bloodlust.
***********************
It was perhaps half a week later that Donghae stormed into the living room, eyes sparking and a crumpled piece of paper clutched in his hand.
"Here, look!" He beamed, practically bouncing on his feet as Leeteuk read the small excerpt.
"The lycan sovereign has stopped the search for his banned son, now dead.
The king revealed that his son, Kim Jongwoon, 19, was confirmed dead after nine years of searching for the prince.
Apparently he was bitten to death by vampires in downtown in Seoul according to a reliable witness.
Therefore, the search has come to an end."
Kibum grinned from one ear to the other. "I'm going to go tell Yesung," he exclaimed, grabbing the paper and heading down the hall.
"Hey," Kibum smiled as he enterd the room, plopping down next to Yesung on the lypir's bed, totally ignoring Heechul on Yesung's other side.
"Guess what just happened?"
"Spill it and than leave," muttered Heechul, "we have things to discuss."
Kibum rolled his eyes, handing Yesung the paper.
There was silence for a short moment as the younger man read through the article, his eyes sparking and a smile spreading across his face.
"So that means I'm finally free, they really belived it?" Yesung asked. He stared wide eyed at Kibum, while the vampire just nodded.
" Yeah, that's what's written down there." Kibum laughed as Yesung threw himself into his arms.
"That's awesome," the younger man exclaimed as he pinned Kibum down onto the bed, eyes sparkling with happiness
"Oww, " Kibum groaned as he was pushed back, totally adoring the look of happiness on Yesung's face, "I don't remember you being this forceful.."
"Must be the vampire blood," the lypir whisperd before leaning down and stealing a kiss from the vampire.
Kibum smirked into the kiss before he turned them both around; he ran a hand through Yesung's dark hair before leaning down.
"I quite like it," he whispered while scratching his fangs down the other male's neck.
"Oh, please..." Heechul rolled his eyes before leaving the room and locking the door behind him.
"Spare my poor eyes."

So I finally finished my first chaptered fiction ^^ ; any thoughts, criticism, complain, randomness?
Special thanks to
rayneweather for correcting my awkward English x3 ~♥
I still have the background stories for a few characters (Leeteuk, Kibum, Heechul etc.) scribbled down, but I don't know if I should finish them... is there any interest for them or should I just leave it as it is? ^^
So all that's left to say:
