Kibum stared down at the paper in front of him as silence filled the room.

Ryeowook was sniffing silently in one corner, head hanging low. "So he heard what I said?" the young lycan sobbed, curled up in a ball on the kitchen chair.

The others just stood in silence as Leeteuk slowly nodded. "Seems so."

"I didn't want him to hear it, he wasn't meant to hear it," Ryeowook whimpered before he suddenly jumped up storming out of the room.

"He can't be far away." They heard him crying out from the corridor just as Kangin sprinted after him, pulling the hysterical lycan back into the kitchen, jacket already in his hands.

"Calm down, Ryeowook," he mumbled, trying to hold the young one who continued to struggle in his arms. "It wouldn't change anything if you run out now and head into the streets only to get yourself attacked at best."

Ryeowook sniffed again but slowly relaxed a bit as Kangin let up his grip a bit.

"Yeah, you're right," he whispered, brushing away his tear stains and nodding softly.
"You're right." He scrambled out of Kangin's arms and threw his jacket over a chair.

There was a quiet metallic sound as a small packet fell out of Ryeowook's pocket and onto the floor.

"Huh, what's that?" Siwon asked as he bent down, picking up the small item.

Ryeowook looked up at him, frowning lightly. "Ah, that's the necklace Teukie gave me a few weeks ago. The jeweler repaired it but I forget to gave it back; it's Yesung's," he finally remembered.

Kibum looked up at the last words frowning slightly. "May I see it?" he asked and opened the package pulling out an all too familiar necklace.

A golden ring atteched to a tiny silver chain.

"Kibum?" Kyunhun finally asked as the other vampire just sat there, frozen and staring at the necklace. "Kibum? Do you know it?"

"Yes," he finally answered letting the chain fall back into his open palm, fingers closing around it protectively. "Yeah, I know it all too well," he whispered before standing up.

"Excuse me, I have to go," he said before hurrying out of the room, getting his jacket and heading out of the front door, ignoring the protests behind him.

So it's really him, he thought, running three miles an hour through the streets, the gem clutched in his fist.

I really found him.

He closed his eyes for a short moment as long forgotten memories came back to him.

"Here," Kibum whispered, leaning forward and fastening the gem around the lycan's neck.

His hand remained on Jongwoon's cheek a few moments, stroking gently before he leaned foward a bit, pressing their lips together in a chaste kiss.

"I'll come back for you, I promise."

I've promised it.

Kibum cursed violently for just remembering now. He had to find him, fast, before others did.

Yesung sagged down against a cold stone wall, panting heavily.
Everything hurt and his vison wasn't the best either any more.

Crouching down into a ball he rested his head on his knees and let his tears fall down freely.
So he was on the run again, and to where?

He hoped by dear God that the others hadn't found his letter by know or at least followed his plea. Then he had a bit of a chance to get away. Not that he had gotten really far, after all.

He could fell the sting in his neck and his whole head and shoulders hurt like hell. His blood pressure was very low by now and he didn't think that he would have the power to stand up again.

He cursed silently.

At least he was away from the others so he didn't have to worry about their safety.
He smiled lightly as the darkness took over.

*********

The young lycan screamed his soul out of his body as he was held back by two males at least twice his size.

The tears were coming through on their own accord before they dried, leaving redness and a sore feeling that went totally unnoticed.

His father was standing to his left, a smug smile at his face as he watched his son rage and his two friends chained in front of him, heads up with solid stares but he knew they were scared and it amused him.

Jongwoon's voice was already sore and his troat was hurting by the time his father finally stepped in front, motioning the crowd at his feed to quiet down as he started his speech.

"My true fellows of royal blood and mind. I'm happy to present you again two sacrileges the wild forest out there has to offer." He made a vague gesture with his hand, somewhere in the direction between the forest and Henry and Zhoumi.

"In a few minutes, when the clock strikes twelve there will be two less shabby creatures running around and we'll have another traitor marked and scared away."

Jongwoon stared at his father in pure hate and rage as the guards holding him twisted his arms around a bit more, making him cry out in pain.

"So it will be a happy night for all those pure blood lycans out there," the sovereign said in closing as the mass started to cheer on their alpha in pure bloodlust and ecstay.

"At least for a few of them," he whispered into Jongwoon‘s ear, before smirking down at him.

The young lycan could feel his hate doubling as his father laughed at him, dark and husky before he grabbed the hot dagger for the second time and Jongwoon experienced deja vu as he felt the hot blade slicing through the flesh over his shoulder blade, just beneath his previous wound.

He hissed, biting his tongue in process to keep from screaming out loud. He didn’t want to give his father the satisfaction. He stayed silent, collecting his pain and turning it into hate as he stared back at the old man in front, eyes shimmering a dangerous red.

He could make out a bit of surprise in his father's eyes but only for a short moment as the crowd cheered and his father turned around.

Jongwoon's world slowly turned red and he would be at his father's throat if it wasn't for the two guards behind him.

"And now for you two," his father continued, turning around and smiling sweetly at both vampires.

"Leave them alone!" Jongwoon snapped finally. "I'll kill you! You hear me! If you-" the hard slap across his face shut him up effectively but only for a short moment.

"Bastard!" He screamed, struggling and fighting against his guards as he suddenly lost his balance and staggered a bit to his right. Surprised he looked down as the corners of his vison turned black and he finally noticed the pile of blood already spread across the ground.

He looked up as everything turned into slow motion again and Zhoumi slowly shook his head as he smiled at him, before falling down.

"You did great," he heard the smaller vampire whisper softly before the tears blurred his vison and everything went red in pure rage at the sight of his two friends lying in front of him.

His eyes were the first thing that changed, turning from bright golden to deep red, followerd by his claws and fangs as he roared out a desperate cry.

The corners of his vison went from black to red as he saw his father in front, his back facing him and he crouched down taking both guards down in pure rage.

A pair of surprised eyes turned at him before he bit down with all his strength.

A content feeling of conformance and blitheness washed over him as he felt his father going down in front of him before his world suddenly went fast forward again. He went flying backwards, pulled by strong claws and fangs.

He hissed before turning around and running, not caring where to, just the farthest away he could get. Ignoring the angry howls and lycans running after him he pushed through the thick forest until there was nothing but silence in his ears.

The young lycan finally stopped and almost instantly crashed into the ground, panting hard as he shifted back into his human form.

His fingers dug into the wet earth benath him as the tears came back again.

"Just forget, forget everything," he sobbed quietly and weakly punched the grass as his vison went dark.

***********

A loud howl woke Yesung from his restless sleep.

And he tried scrambling up the wall but failed miserably. He couldn't move his fingers properly even if he wanted to.

The howl echoed down the dark alley again, but a lot nearer this time and the lycan closed his eyes. There wasn't anything he could do now as two dark wolves came prowling around the corner and a small helpless smile found its way onto his lips.

Yesung sighed tiredly, willing his eyes to open a tiny gap at least before he gathered all his strengh to shift as he stumbled over his own paws and went crashing into the ground.

He remained there, too tired to even blink an eye.

He heard the lycans snickering as he lay there howling out quietly one last time before he felt a pair of cold fangs scratching against his throat.

This time there wasn't any howl signaling help was on its way; wasn't anyone scaring the lycans away; wasn't anyone who brushed the hair out of his face and picked him up.

This time there was only silence, a numb feeling spreeding through his body and the sickening sound of his heartbeat slowly fading away.
