Nothing much to say about this one, just the possibility of Yabu having eaten dog poop when he was younger.

Yaotome This fall, I kinda want to not spend money. I went shopping too much over the summer, so I'll save up! When I get hungry, I'll pick up some chestnuts and eat them.
Yabu Hikaru, you like chestnuts, don't you.
Yaotome I like them, I like them. I like them on cakes and Mont Blanc the most. I go to the basement floor of the department store on my own and buy amatsu amaguri; chestnut dishes, I love them, you know? When I lived in Sendai, I'd gather chestnuts, bring them home, and make my mother cook them for me. Chestnut dishes, I mean.
Yabu Ah, me, back then I'd look for horsetail, bring them home and make my mom make them a side dish.
Yaotome Eh, you can eat horsetail?
Yabu You can, you can. They're often tasty!
Yaotome He-h, I didn't know. a friend taught me about edible grass. I brought some grass back, but we didn't eat them. He told me, 「These have dog poop on 'em」 Huh? Could it be, that the horsetail Yabu found, too, had...

Yabu Horsetails are around in the spring, but chestnuts are in season during fall, so I haven't heard of that. It's a fall food.
Yaotome There are a lot of delicious foods during fall, so I eat a lot. Especially chestnuts, persimmon and pike.
Yabu I like eating pike leaving bones as they are.
Yaotome Eh, you serious? I hate those. I take out all the bones.
Yabu You would expect someone to not eat the bony stuff, but if there are small bones, then it's okay to eat the meat with it. Taking them out is a pain!
Yaotome You're surprisingly wild... (laugh)
Yabu Anyway, do you think you can actually not spend that much money for fall saving?
Yaotome No, I bought the sneakers for the photo shoot a little earlier today.
Yabu Those were the ones I was wearing, right? I thought 「Hikaru will like these!」 and bought them. (laugh)
Yaotome Yabu does that sort of thing too, just now he bought sneakers from the stylist... We shouldn't do that.
Yabu No, I don't usually spend my money on clothes. These sneakers were purchased on impulse this time, though. (laugh)
Yaotome Impulsive shopping is bad, 'cause we still have allowance. (laugh)
Yabu Yeah! There may be people who think that we spend as much money as we want to because of our work, but it isn't like that at all!! (laugh)
Yaotome You know, there was a time when my allowance got smaller. That's because my mom and Yabu's mom talked and sorted out how much allowance we got. When I asked her, 「Eh, why did it get smaller!?」 she told me 「Because Yabu-kun gets that much too!!」 (laugh)
Yabu I gave you some money that time, though~ ♪
Yaotome I know. I gave you some too. (laugh) But there's no point in getting a lot. I guess you can't save during fall, eh?
