Happy New Year!!!
With 22 minutes to spare, I'm going to get in my New Years um...what's the word I need here...greetings? That sounds crappy...salutation? LOL, uh no...um...yeah that word which I can't think of but I'm sure you've filled in already.
So...
HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!
Hope you all had awesome New Year's Eve's because let's face it...that's the only reason we look forward to the 1st of Jan ;)
In review of my NYE...I'm just glad that I made it to be able to coherently count down to 2006 unlike my countdown to 2005 lol. Actually we missed the countdown so we had our own...about a minute to late *goof*. I was trying to pop some champagine in time to the countdown but it was premature and popped at 3 lol.
I had a bunch of people over and lets say drunk people and pools do not mix *look*. Sasha got totally smashed and ended up puking (on my foot and my friends towel!). I was sitting with her and I had to go to the toilet so I left her with Murray for a little while and when I came back I hear she's fallen off the bench seat we were sitting on and some how managed to hit the concrete path instead of the grass *goof*. For her to do that she must've had her head between her knees and somehow just fallen straight down *eek*. But yeah, no concussion to Sasha.
My backyard looked like a camping ground last night, there were about 7 tents pitched in various places. I didn't get to sleep until 6:30am. I was dead! And then I go to my tent and it's been occupied by 3 people. They said there was "room" for me but I wasn't going to cram in...that would make it 4 people in a 2 man tent! So I found an empty tent and just passed out there. Working tonight wasn't fun either...Tate and I walked around like zombies. Thank god there wern't many customers at all.
So tomorrow I'm off to Saftey Beach for a week. I'm coming home one night during the week (it's only like an hour drive) because I have a IBL interview with IBM *eek*. I just don't know which day it is yet. But other than that I'll be back next Sunday sometime. I hope the weather re-picks up. We had like 4 days of extreme heat and now it's raining *pout*. Damm Melbourne weather *sigh*.
One last note...I'm like uber (yes I just said uber lol) obsessed with Dirty Little Secret by The All-American Rejects lately. I've been listening to that song and their album non-stop. Actually I uploaded it for Andie, so here's the link for anyone who'd like to check it out.
