Resurface-sal.
I've finally resurfaced after an inofficial and unexpected hiatus! I really wasn't expecting to be so busy as to not be able to post this few days, but honestly, I swear by Heaven I am really busy. I have about a thousand things to say.
I've been checking LUTS regularly despite my obvious lack of time, and they have put up this notice saying that they are postponing all Winter Period orders. The delay will be one to two agonizing weeks for people who have ordered the Senior Delfs.
I tell you, my heart sank faster than a stone in the river when I saw that. There's approximately still two more weeks left till the 45-day mark, so by adding another possible two-week delay, it'll be a month at maximum before Yuzuki arrives. A freaking month! I nearly passed out after I'd calculated the magnitude of this disastrous delay.
If there was compensation for the delay, I'd feel marginally better. (I even dreamed that they actually compensated and along with Yuzuki came a lovely basket-cum-doll-bed thing, but of course that didn't happen.)
Anyway, it was the second of a two-part reunion dinner (think paternal and maternal, one after the other) today, and Ichigo got to savour the chicken and bones that was used for the soup along with his regular kibble. Lucky dog.
(And to top it off that chicken was used for no regular soup, but shark's fin soup. I don't really care for shark's fin myself, but I have to admit that it is a MAJOR luxury food. Certainly not regular dog muck fodder, unless you're some kind of celeb/royalty pooch.)
Ichigo's gettin' it good. We found that his chain collar actually manages to leave some bald spots on his neck line, so we leave him off as much as we can so the hair can grow back. Won't want him to have this prominent line that looks like a guiding mark for beheadement.
He actually looks closer to the Wild like that, the cutesy darling. Well, he's well-behaved enough for some freedom once in a while, I reckon.
Been working on Yuzuki whenever I have pockets of time (read: when I'm in the toilet, in the car on the way to somewhere, between gaps in my busy days, et cetera) and on the whole I've created quite a consistent and flowing character, I hope... These days I'll be a bit free-er, since it's the New Year break, so I'll try to let Yuzuki write in my journal. She's been itching to.
