What it means to say Phoenix Arizona was a little weird and confusing. I mean there are a lot of people who have father that are not present in their lives. I mean I had one, I only saw my father twice in my life. Then he died when I was 12. To be honest it hurt a lot because he really was never there and I will never get the chance to know him more. In the story Victor and his dad would play basketball once in a while, but other than that it was like they didn’t exist to each other. Victor knew his father as a drunk who would once in a blue moon hurt either himself or his mother and would just run away for short periods of time. Until one day he left and never came back after that Victor just looked at it as his father left him and didn’t want him anymore. I think that he really did love him and miss him. It was really say that his father died like that and it took so long for people to find him. It is is also weird how Victor’s father never really showed him any love and affection, but he showed Thomas. He would take Thomas to breakfast and stuff. He also saved him when Thomas was out late around a bad area. Victor’s father took him to get something to eat then took him home. He seemed like a very nice person to Thomas but he didn’t treat victor like that.
