Back to school...
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!
Sorry, Kathy moment there...
So I'm back in Oswego which is not bad at all. I worried and stressed all summer for nothing. I mean, I still don't fell 100% part of the group but I certainly do not feel deliberately left out anymore. Whatever. So anyway, I got back here around 9 on Saturday morning, moved in, went to brunch with Mom and Dad, then came back and tried to move the room all around till Steph got here and we moved her in and rearranged and whatnot. Now the room is so pretty! Little, but pretty. That night Liz wanted to go to Delta Sig but didn't want to go with her suitemates so we (me, CJ, Miss and Steph) went with her. It was a good time. They ran out of beer early but we made friends with a brother who smuggled us cans of beer, which was nice. We walked back and met the most random group of boys, who looked 16 but said they were freshman. I think Liz took a picture of us with them, but I'm not sure. Haha. Then we stopped up to see the 7th floor boys who were soooooo drunk it was crazy. I went to bed at 2 I think. CRAZY. I slept well though. Sunday was spent lazing around the suite; none of us did anything. Katie moved in Sunday and was cranky. I was thinking we were going to have some big talk or something but we never did so phew. I'd rather just let go of last year and start anew.
And now the first two days are virtually over. I worked a lot already, and I am so tired. I was up both days by 630 so I could help open OBC. I have a bad feeling about being group leader over my suitemates, simply because they disagree with a lot of operations procedures that I have to enforce. Oh well. My classes are good. Theory of Knowledge will be awesome, and Metaphysics will be a challenge. I love that I'm a TA for Ryniker, because I love her, haha. History of Women will also be a challenge, but my friend Heather is in the class with me and I think we can survive it together. And finally, The Poor and the Courts, where I have to do a field paper and presentation. I have to figure out what I want to do that on. I was thinking maybe going to a foster home or something. We shall see. It looks like it's going to be a really busy semester which is good. And since Kevin won't be here to distract me, all the better.
Speaking of Kevin, he and I went out to lunch Friday and nothing happened which was kind of disappointing considering the tension of the previous night/early morning. He's leaving on a bus tomorrow to North Carolina and then he's back to Africa until March. It's weird because I've had so much to do I haven't had a lot of time to miss him. But I hope he stays in touch like a good boy. =-p
And my squee of all squees is that the boy I like a LOT is coming home in 10 days and I get to see him because he's coming to Oswego to visit me YAYYY!!!!! That reminds me, I have to call him tonight. But I can't wait to see Hottie Boy again =-D Teehee.
