Well today is the last day of the best summer of my life. I can't believe how quickly this summer flew by. I mean it. I feel like I've hardly been home long enough to go back to school. But alas, the day has come. And I'm sad.
This summer really has been amazing. And this week was great. I spent at least a few hours every day with Kathy, including another trip to Seabreeze and the craziness of last night. Last night we had the final bonfire at Stacy's grandma's. It was fantastic. We watched FernGully which was so funny. I hadn't watched it since... 3rd grade maybe so I had forgotten a lot of it. But it was so amusing. And then the best part was that my Kevin was home this week because of a family emergency (that's not the good part, I'm not that mean) but the fact that he was home meant he could come hang out with us and finally meet the girls!! He showed up around 1030, we stood around and chatted for a bit and then Kathy went to bed cuz she had to get up for work this morning. So then Stacy, Kevin and I went and built a bonfire (well technically they built it while I stood there and drank, haha) and stayed outside till... 230 maybe, I'm not sure. Then we watched American Beauty which is one of the screwiest movies I've ever seen in my life. And then since none of us were tired we popped in the always entertaining Office Space. It was good times. Then Kevin and I went outside and talked and sat together and kissed and cuddled and it was nice. Although to be honest it was the most sexually frustrating night of my life, lol. We didn't want to do anything cuz it wasn't our house... it wasn't our place, you know? It was really... bad. Haha. He left a little after 6, cuz we were just standing in the garage holding each other and he was uncomfortable cuz he thought Stace's grandma was gonna come yell at him. But he's on his way here right now so we can hang out... since I'm leaving tomorrow and he's back to Africa Wednesday. ::tear:: He's coming back in March.
This Kevin thing is ridiculous really... he used to not touch me unless he knew he was going to get some. Now... I can't explain it. We're much more affectionate and snuggly. It's so.... relaxing, calming, comforting? I'm not sure what word to use. I just love it.
Know the difference between hugging someone and holding them? It felt so nice to be held.
Well I better go. I can't believe it's Kevin... dinner... packing up the car... sleep and then Oswego. Wow.
