Yes, it's my first KAT-TUN song... it took a long time lol...but here it is~
So, latest KAT-TUN's album called IGNITE has this beautiful ballad, it's really nice. And after checking the lyrics it turned out that it sounded so much like any other Jhonny's song because ... let's say because of.. reasons, and I'm so predictable... Either way, let's go with the lyrics, I got kanji lyrics from here, as usual, so, here is my try:

[T/N]:Tomorrow morning I have a very early training at school, and I'm only assisting because last time the breakfast was really delicious... Am I even going to do this? LOL, let me tell you a couple of things about the minds behind this song and later a couple of notes about pronouns like usual, at the end I'll repeat my frustration over not knowing who's singing which part except for Kame.
- First, the lyricist of this song has worked previously with Johnny's groups, I love/like a lot many of the songs he wrote like Kinpuri's Glass Flower, SexyZo's キャラメルドリーム, JUMP's order and Shall We?, KAT-TUN's In Fact and this one I don't remember about: Kisumai's Winter Lover.
Now on the composers, it was so surprising finding more and more songs, the list is amazing, so, I'll just write a couple for each and I'll leave a page for the whole list, which is so long!!
Susumu Kawaguchi: KAT-TUN's クロサンドラ, from the same album, and guess what, I also like this one. Kinpuri's Memorial, SZ's 星の雨, this one is beautiful, also ベイビーロマンチカ and PEACH !, I love PEACH!. Also most of the songs during their 3-nin singles. Arashi's 伝えたいこと.
Christofer Erixon: the list goes on an on, with Arashi, NEWS, Sexy Zone, Kis-My-Ft2, Johnny's WEST, Hey! Say! JUMP (having worked in the amazing songs from SMART), V6, Yūma Nakayama, Kanjani Eight, A.B.C-Z, King & Prince, KAT-TUN.
I couldn't stop myself when discovering this, 'so this song, this song' ... so the people who made this song is the average people who work with most of Johnny's I listen. This was even more interesting than this song and who's singing each line!! LOL, this was such an attention catcher for me! It's not just the lyricist but the two composers have worked with so many albums/singles and groups in Jhonny's that made me think they're among their regular staff that works in songs before coming out, especially the last person. I've read before that the company is working with European people, and that's why they sound so much the same.
- Then leaving aside all my enthusiasm while finding that I'm so predictable about my likes lol, this song is sad, okay? That's one of the reasons I really liked this, that and the singing.
The hardest part was trying to write the pronouns, the result is my own perception about the meaning of this song, and I like it a lot, that's why it ended this way, I hope it's not that bad, I'm sorry about my mistakes!
I love the part with the 'everything' it has a lot of emotion when they sing it.
- And the part I went with my wishes a little more, and diverge from being strictly literal is the stars last verse in a couple of stanzas, it's just that it sounded so beautiful in Japanese. So, in the first time, this verse appears I wrote ' like wishing upon a star', instead of 'like stars', because I thought it made sense in the way the person is watching so intensely a star in the sky.
- I thought a lot about the title of the song, I don't know how to make sense of it, maybe if it was 'reflecting in the night' or 'a reflection on the night', I think I get the general idea of the thing, but I think it's not entirely clear, the meaning in the title.
And that's it, mainly because I have to go, ha! and I don't have time to keep on rambling, so I'll name the songs I really like in this album: A MUSEUM, this song has such nice music, that's the reason also, Kurosandora, but that's probably predictable if you check one of the composers, and lastly Kame's solo. I'm not very fond of the main song... actually, in general, I'm not very fond of KAT-TUN's music, but this one is a beautiful ballad. Maybe it's just that I don't know much about them...
Either way, I'm late, I'm leaving now, I'm happy my friend's baby is finally at home, he was in the hospital, but now he's with his family. And it'll be really hard to wake up tomorrow, bye!
