- In the second raw version, the dorama starts at 1:30, before it shows a little about the real Yoshinori-sensei, the character Shige's playing, I didn't sub that part.



Okay, so this took a while. I decided to sub this .. mainly because of the story, it's really encouraging and I was interesting in watching Shige's acting. But later, I found out that Sawajiri Erika was on this, well I don't pay attention to the posters so, so it took a while. And that sort of closed the deal, I mean I love her acting since 1 litre of tears.. Also you'll find Kotaki Nozomu from Johnny's West, as the main narrator of this story, although he doesn't look as a papa at all, lol. So let's get into the notes, they are out of order,

• First, Kinpachi-sensei, of course, there's a reference to this. Stars popular actor Takeda Tetsuya as an inspirational teacher put in charge of an unruly class of 9th graders. This highly-rated series reveals a rarely-seen side of Japan's educational system.(Source)
  I've heard of this before and probably anyone that has watched enough doramas to find a reference of this. What called my attention actually is the fact that this really famous dorama had like 8 seasons+SP and that Shige actually played one of the students at season 6. Actually just now I find out that Yabu Kota also played a student with little and cute Hika-chan, actually both of them were really cute.. and many others, like Kazama, Kame, Masu and even V6's Nagano..interesting.

• Next, the birds Yoshinori-sensei insists in comparing with newcomers,
  The Japanese bush warbler (Horornis diphone), known in Japanese as uguisu (ウグイス), is an Asian passerine bird more often heard than seen. Its distinctive breeding call can be heard throughout much of Japan from the start of spring.(Source)

• And, of course about the disease this time. This is a spoiler, but it's really nice that no one is dying in this year's 24hs SP!
  What is retinal detachment? The retina is the light-sensitive layer of tissue that lines the inside of the eye and sends visual messages through the optic nerve to the brain. • Now, this one is fun, this is about the song, he's singing in.. all the parts he's singing. Love Machine (Morning Musume song)

  Yes, this is old, of course, but it's amazingly catchy and still relevant, you can check how it's n°3 at the Top 10 karaoke songs to liven up the year-end parties, I was so proud for knowing the song! You can listen to it here. And the tiny bits of lyrics of the song came from here

• Now about the piano, since .. I don't remember her name, gomen! Erika's character, I checked and is Mayumi, since she's a piano teacher. Here you can listen to the song she's playing at the piano when Yoshinori-sensei asks her to teach him and more..
  And well, he says he only can play the "Flea Waltz", which is a very simple piano piece.
  It is known all over the world.   I know nothing about music, not even this, so I found it interesting.
• And about the things that helped Yoshinori-sensei to get back to his normal life.
  Voice PC, a commercially available personal computer software, that you have installed for the visually impaired persons with a voice guide function. I actually tried in my smartphone the function for visually impaired persons and it was really hard to learn how to use! I guess it needs practice. And about the writing process when he's practicing on the computer, well, for Japanese, since you they also use the qwerty keyboard they write the words in romaji and the person has to pick which kanji they are writing, that's why the voiced listed many options.
  Braille kanji Kantenji, or braille kanji, is a system of braille for writing the Japanese language. It was devised in 1969 by Taiichi Kawakami, a teacher at the Osaka School for the Blind, and was still being revised in 1991. It supplements Japanese braille by providing a means of directly encoding kanji characters without having to first convert them to kana. • Last but not least, the obvious reference on Kotani's character's baby's name please possessives! with Captain Tsubasa from the anime. And you'll here this voice narrating the events for the visually impaired persons, and at first it was really annoying, but after a while I almost didn't perceive it, I guess it's a big help for people who want to enjoy the dorama as well. I remember noticing this at Ohkura's SP first, Tachon's SP was actually the first time I tried to sub a 24hs SP, I'm glad I was able to finish this one.
  And this was a really heartwarming SP, I specially enjoyed it, and even though there are some strong scenes due to the problems Yoshinori-sensei needs to face, it was really cute to see him and his family. I specially enjoyed Erika's acting here, and in terms of translation, this seemed endless, lol, I don't know why but the length! That's why maybe I was lazy on editing the notes, but glad it's finally done. :D

That's it, I'm not sure about what will be next, but this was fun, so, I'll leave with a wow wow wow
