I've been trying to write this, but, life is on the way, and even though everything seems to point that I'll just be busier in the near future, let's just finish this for the time being~



I'm just reading this is the 8th album from WEST and I can't hardly believe it haha, I remember like 3 of their albums, well, I haven't been following their music since long ago. RainboW still remains my favorite, but I think I haven't listened to this as thoughtfully as I should. I'll comment on my favorite songs by the end. This album features 5 singles, that's a lot! and they're all pretty good. Then we have a very cool and funny, I can't help but laugh with "Shirankedo", we also have a song by Shige, じゃあね, and one by Kami-chan, Contrails, in the regular edition. Also unit songs.
But this time, we're here because of "Tsubasa" by Ryota Yanagisawa (SUPER BEAVER), that's the same for 僕らの理由 and 春じゃなくても, the first I was so close to translating because I love it and the later it's good as well.

So, let's dive into this beautiful song, and by the end, I'll just add something extra, because when I watched that, I wanted to add it somewhere LOL. I got kanji from here. I'm sorry about the mistakes, I tried my best, I love this song~

I guess it's not possible, right?

It's pretty common as well, that only the parties involved
are the ones experiencing despair and happiness.
It's not about feeling the same way,

[T|N]: Now, isn't this such a beautiful encouraging song?? I love it, now a couple of notes:
- First, the part is "無防備な" and the translation is: defenseless; unprotected; vulnerable, unsuspecting, naked. Because of the context of the lyrics, I think I like to think of it as a sort of innocent, or exposed gentleness, and I actually used first "vulnerable", but somehow ended up liking more "exposed", like something you do without hiding it, in the eyes of the public and that also makes it vulnerable.
- There are a couple of instances in which it was impossible for me to keep the order, so some verses are inverted in order, and it's a pity :(  Especially the very short ones, it's so nice that part.
- I want to mention this one, the part with the ones experiencing despair and happiness, the last verse is sort of an interpretation of the lyrics in that part more than a literal translation. I just felt it had the same final message there... sorry :D

And lastly, I love the whole theme in this song, about finding the extraordinary in the ordinary. Like that kindness that could save a sank heart is surely extraordinary, and a small effort to get the others can make such a big difference.
I wasn't quite sure about the part with the "the more I touch..." but I guess it's similar to the feeling of the more you know, it's inevitable to realize how much you don't know, and you become aware of how little is your knowledge in reality. The more you "touch" the others the more you lose focus of yourself.
And my favorite part in the lyrics is in bold because it's beautiful! and so powerful~

Overall, I think this is a typical West song with all-powerful and encouraging lyrics.



Mixed Juice

About the songs in the album, let me tell you about my favorite after the first listening~ it's "Plan B", the music is perfect, it's like a little of a new style for them, at least that's what I felt. I like all the singles, but I won't mention them...Then, Shirankedo is hilarious in the MV and it's Junta making all these faces LOL. 涙腺 and Contrails are also nice songs~ I do appreciate that they took some risks and kind of tried different sounds in this album. Oh, I also like the unit song, the one with Shige, Hama-chan, and Akito, "Passion". And if you're wondering about the other unit song, it's my favorite "Plan B", and we have Junta, Kami-chan, Ryusei, and Non-chan.

Btw, I still have one song from them from the single before from their album, lol. And now, if you ask me why I did this, I don't know!





Well, I do like Shouko, I liked this performance when I watched this the first time and they are the Jrs I like to watch...

And I'm so sleepy~ I don't think I'll be able to post the last lyrics I have ready, but I think that'll be up probably tomorrow, I have a clue for you, it also has a video~
