OS X Leopard - Cool Dock Hack

I just finished installing OS X Leopard on my new laptop and I already hate the new, over-done "glass shelf" style dock. Fortunately, thanks to this review in Ars Technica, I discovered there's a hack to fix it built into the OS!

Sweet. The "glass shelf" style really does smack of being clever for the sake of being clever, rather than for the sake of being cleaner and easier to use. Nice background too!

This is no doubt a classic example of where upper management shits out this "clever" idea that nobody under them agrees with. So rather than fighting a losing battle they code in what they feel is the "right" way.

And by "upper management" you mean "Steve Do-It-My-Way" Jobs".

I'm still reeling that he finally relented and let them release a real SDK for the iPhone.
