First off -- congratulations to
Dr. Brian May -- former guitarist for Queen and now Doctor of Science in Astronomy! I wonder if they played "We Are the Champions" at the ceremony?
I am playing my first ever gig in New York tonight. It's not much of a gig, but I'm still very excited. At lunch I'm going to buy a giant jar of ear plugs to leave at the corner of the stage.
Next week I'm traveling to Boston to join the Minuteman Army to try to drive off yet another invasion by the Brits -- or should I say Brit -- or should I say

Chuck's Boston Itinerary
Tuesday I'll be "working from bus" -- I should arrive in Boston in the late afternoon, depending on when I get started. I'll be staying at (and working from) a B&B near Davis Square if people want to hang out.
Tuesday night I'll be at Mily Way karaoke with Chris and hopefully a ragtag collection of regulars and old timers.
Wednesday I'll again be working from the B&B and trying to meet with my money guy. Wednesday night I'll be dining with Jane and whoever would like to join us at the East Coast Grill. You must be a firm yes, though so we can give them a number. We're running under the strict policy of "if you can't commit, you don't sit".
Thursday I will again be working from the B&B (and probably Diesel) before attending Guy's Night. I will be catching a bus back to Boston immediately after.
There ya have it. Not much of a trip, but it finally gives me an excuse to come back to karaoke, so I'm happy.
