The hell that is called school is finally over and to celebrate I want to share some of the fandom goodies (Who am I kidding? They're all Nakamaru goodies) I received from the help_japan auctions.

wow, the uniform really IS detailed!! Well, the truth is one doesn't need to actually follow a fandom to be able to make something based on a picture reference.... and I don't mean it bad, just saying from my own experience of course the plushie is awesome!! ♥ How did she make the eyes?? Is the face painted??

You're right. Someone with artistic ability can work off a reference without any prior knowledge about the fandom. I just find there's that extra special touch when the person follows the fandom. Like your favorite character would turn out better than some random guy you don't know. In that sense, I applaud her for making some random guy to her come out looking so great.

Indeed, her chibis are great. I'm a total sucker for cute things and her chibis kill me xDD~

Maybe.. For me it's partly also about who I'm making the chibi for xDD omg that sounds kind of wrong *hides* but well, since I haven't made any chibi for a stranger until now I think the remark is pointless anyway ^^
When I was making chibi TegoMass the only thing I knew was the two of them are a part of NewS (I didn't even know who was who back then xDD)
But no matter what I'm joing in to your applaud because the general look just great!! ♥

*laughs* I'm still patiently waiting for my gift and for one more picture Bunny promised to draw xDD

I didn't think about that. In that case I'm a random person to the maker as well so maybe double kudos are in order. But overall, attention to detail is probably the most important. You both are great at that.

Is the gift the Akame cows? That one was crazy adorable xDD

CHOTTO! i'm almost done!! X/!! i'm sorry it's taking forever!! OMG!! but yeah, i'm almost done!! might be another two days with inking and toning, BUT!! ALMOST!! *bow* i'm sorry for taking FOREVER!!

Oh no, I didn't mean to rush you or anything. I actually just got these a few days ago so your not taking forever. Seriously, take your time. Artwork shouldn't be rushed and I hope you have some fun with it too.

Bunny and blackthornhiei are both rockstars for their amazing work. Your doujinshi will get a pimp post too.

I am eyeing General plushie and just squealing my heart out. That has got to be the most adorable thing! You're right, the uniform looks really well done and detailed. Uwa, the auction seemed to have brought so much more awesome than I thought. Too cute~~

And naturally the "Itadaki...Masu!" in the NakaMa drawing is just so precious. <3

I'm really amazed at how well General plushie turned out. The maker did a great job. To think what Maru's military interests have spawned. Johnny should start considering marketing General goods ;P

I'll forever connect itadakimasu with Massu now :D

The two pieces of cardboard were very effective in protecting NakaMa.
Btw, the envelope and stamp are lovely so I will happily hold on to that as well.

Isn't he adorable??? The idea of a GN plushie got into my head and wouldn't let go so I'm so happy she was receptive to the idea and made it come out as wonderful as it did.

But I like alien!Yucchi. I want to try making my own someday. I have the problem of starting projects and never finishing them though =_=
