The hell that is called school is finally over and to celebrate I want to share some of the fandom goodies (Who am I kidding? They're all Nakamaru goodies) I received from the help_japan auctions.

wow, the uniform really IS detailed!! Well, the truth is one doesn't need to actually follow a fandom to be able to make something based on a picture reference.... and I don't mean it bad, just saying from my own experience of course the plushie is awesome!! ♥ How did she make the eyes?? Is the face painted??

You're right. Someone with artistic ability can work off a reference without any prior knowledge about the fandom. I just find there's that extra special touch when the person follows the fandom. Like your favorite character would turn out better than some random guy you don't know. In that sense, I applaud her for making some random guy to her come out looking so great.

Yup the face is painted :)

Indeed, her chibis are great. I'm a total sucker for cute things and her chibis kill me xDD~

Maybe.. For me it's partly also about who I'm making the chibi for xDD omg that sounds kind of wrong *hides* but well, since I haven't made any chibi for a stranger until now I think the remark is pointless anyway ^^
When I was making chibi TegoMass the only thing I knew was the two of them are a part of NewS (I didn't even know who was who back then xDD)
But no matter what I'm joing in to your applaud because the general look just great!! ♥

*laughs* I'm still patiently waiting for my gift and for one more picture Bunny promised to draw xDD

I didn't think about that. In that case I'm a random person to the maker as well so maybe double kudos are in order. But overall, attention to detail is probably the most important. You both are great at that.

Is the gift the Akame cows? That one was crazy adorable xDD

and we have a little "phone" project running *lol* so I'm patiently waiting when Cris would have time to draw it..

I can honestly say the "personal" details are the most important part. Without them the doll could be anyone.

Could post them today!! I got sick again... this time it's my throat! I'm taking medicine for it and the medicine made me feel dizzy today... >.< Hate taking medicines!!!!
