Well, I went into work today at 8:30 AM and worked until 8:00 pm. Keep in mind last night I stayed over at my parents and went home because I knew that we had to pick flyers up and put them around the buildings. I stopped into the apartment and Chuck said he was going to message me and let me know to stop into the clubhouse and pick up flyers. He laughed because I walked in before I got the message, so I went to my car, drove to the clubhouse and picked up the flyers. I called Chuck and told him I was starting at Building One and then had to let him go because I was having trouble locking the front door. I started putting flyers up waiting for him to show up to help me, which didn't happen. I spent an hour and 10 minutes putting up flyers by myself again. I came home to confront Chuck but his door was shut and he was in bed already. Keep in mind yesterday I worked 8 am to 5 pm, then went over to my parents house and cut the grass and clean the lawn and trim some hedges. Then after dinner, cleaned up the kitchen while they went out shopping and then came home to do flyers. I had to open today, so when I woke up I had a horrible headache... grr...but I did get to talk to Justin today so that made it all better! :)
Anyways, today I went to work, and got a call from Janine (the property manager) that she was holding off on putting out the newsletters that were supposed to be out on the first of the month until she got our monthly insert. This insert was our invention, it never existed before, so when Chuck asked me to put some ideas on it, I got really busy with family things and couldn't write anything on it. I told him I was going to work on it when I had a chance, but again, got busy and left it on my desk. When I told Chuck about not doing it, he said "oh well, its not required anyways". and left it at that. On the phone today, Janine explained her point which made a lot of sense that if you are going to start something, like putting a flyer in the newsletter, don't stop with out communicating it with them. They could have had the newsletters up before it got too late. I admitted fault, because she left a voice mail on Chuck's cell phone and he said it was my fault. He then called my cell phone and said I had to call Janine back and find out what she wanted because he "had a meeting". So when I spoke with Janine I told her that it was my responsibility and that we were going to get the flyer and finish it, take it to her apartment for approval, make copies, stuff the newsletters (345 of them... 1 for each apartment) and then run them to every door and put them next to the handles. I told Chuck that we were going to do that but he said it was ridiculous. I went to Janine's with the updated flyer I did, she and I went to the office and made copies, and then we stuffed them together. Chuck called and I told him to meet me at the clubhouse and help. He never showed up. Janine felt bad and I told her that he had a meeting, and she mentioned that she and Lisa have noticed how much hard work that I have been doing and that I should charge $50 for each social event so that whoever works them gets that money off the rent. What a great idea! Jamome felt bad so she agreed to help me put up flyers. We started doing several buildings and when we made it to my building, I invited Janine up for a glass of water. When we got there, Chuck was hiding in the bedroom "getting ready" to go out, "The original" Jeff was standing in the kitchen making cocktails and Jeffrey was sitting at the table drinking something out of a champagne flute. The whole time Janine was there Chuck never came out of his room. The funny thing is, Jeffrey said before she got up there, "This is the infamous Janine I heard about?" While she heard him say that because the front door was opening, and when she was there, they were really rude to her and didn't say anything. So, we left and went back to doing flyers. I got a call from Mike who got locked out of his office and needed a phone number from me so I went back with Janine (although she stayed in the car) and went to my apartment to get the number and they were all gone. All the liqour was drank so they drove somewhere and apparantly called Janine a bitch as they drove by. So nice of them to help!
Regardless, it would be nice if he would help out or if his friends would treat me a little nicer. I do not like feeling pressured in my own home, and things need to change. Things will change... or else!
I have to go to bed ... I have my sisters open house tomorrow and then I close at work! Long day after many long nights with no sleep.. when will my life get better?
By the way, Call me sometime. Yes, I'm talking to you.
