What a great weekend.
We had another big family dinner at George's on Friday. I made my famous stuffing again, and this time I didn't fuck up the first batch. But before the dinner, I talked Dave into going to the liquor store to get a bottle of wine.
First, some back story: This dinner was going to be huge. 14 people, including Katie and Jesse (two of my friends who are not around often) and it was the weekend before finals. So the vibe around my universe going into this weekend was all up in a tizzy, and was dry-humping everything in sight.
Okay, so Dave and I get to the liquor store. I ended up picking out a bottle of wine that turned out to be phenomenal, and I'll get another bottle when I'm out of my other stuff. I walked past the jagermeister shelf, and spotted a bottle in a metal tin with the label etched into it. It looked really cool, so I grabbed it. We were on our way out when Dave spotted the holiday gift sets. Lo and behold, there's a jager gift set with a full-size bottle and two frosted glasses. Very cool. After much debate and conflict, I chose the functionality of the gift set (they were the same price, and contained the same amount of booze). Dave got a gift set of Bushmill's with two even cooler glasses and we went on our merry way.
Dinner went well, my wine was a hit, and I found out that pino grigio is good. We all did a gift exchange afterward, and then the booze started flowing. Many jager-and-cokes later, we went to the bar. We hit three bars, and I did not drink alcohol at any of them. Well, okay, so Jesse bought me a beer at the last bar, but it was more for me to have something to take care of one hand while I was dancing. We almost got thrown out of Al's because the bartender thought we were fighting, but we were just glad to see eachother. So after I made an ass of myself with Carla (which was actually beneficial, as it turns out), we went to the Fallon.
At the Fallon, it was packed, and there was lots of dancing, which was good. Jesse, Dave, and I were good and crunk; still functional and on top of things, but crunk. So we get onto the dance floor and we're dancing. Dave is doing well with some girl, and then I run into Sonya, one of my desk workers. She's with a friend from PSU, Cassy. So we're all dancing and just enjoying ourselves, and I realize that Cassy is giving me the sexy eyes, which is lovely. 2:00am hits, and we go to the Lighthouse for breakfast. Jesse is falling asleep half the time we're there, so Dave and I get into a conversation with the girls about various things. It turned out they were going to get their hoods pierced the next day, and the vagina was a topic of conversation for a good half hour. Sonya has tastes similar to mom, and Cassy loves the cock and has 17 piercings. I can see 14 of them. Okay, so we all pile into the girls' car and they give us rides home. I went to bed around 4:30.
Saturday, we went to the Chinese buffet for lunch, which was lovely. I forget what we did all afternoon, but eventually, night time rolled around. We had leftovers for dinner, and started drinking again. We went out to the Fallon again, and as it turned out, last night was the holiday party. They gave everyone a raffle ticket when they walked in, and there were some people from Bud Light running around. We ran into Sonya and Cassy again, and that was good. Jesse won a Bud Light shirt for proposing to some girl. I was getting a drink, so I missed that part. They called out the first ticket for the raffle, and Cassy won. We had no idea what she won, but she found out she'd get it at the end of the night. The night goes on and we're all dancing. The DJ was a guy I worked with at the Radisson, and he remembered me after 10 months away. 5 drawings later, I won. I figured I'd get an XL t-shirt or something else I couldn't use, but it was free, so whatever. George then had a stroke of brilliance. Since both Cassy and I had won, he declared that we should make out. So we did. And then we talked Sonya and Cassy into making out. So they did. And it was hot.
Ah, yes, the dancing. Because both girls had just gotten their hoods pierced, they were quite sensitive. So of course, my dancing involved a liberal degree of rubbing my knee/thigh up in their crotches. Several times while I was dancing with her, Sonya had to stop and back up because she was shaking. Victory: Jeff. Cassy gave me sexy eyes for the rest of the night. Then at 2:00, the bar closed, and we went to claim our prizes. When our numbers had been called, we'd written our names on a sheet of paper, so our tickets corresponded to a particular prize. We went up to the bar, and they handed us each a wrapped present. I immediately knew what mine was: a bottle of jager in the tin that I'd been looking at on Friday. Awesome. So now I'm beside myself with jager-induced happiness. Cassy's prize? The jager gift set I bought. Score.
Sonya decides that the only proper thing to do with two free bottles of jager is to get red bull and hang out at her apartment. So we got some at wal-mart, and I picked up a sixer of yoo-hoo because I was thirsty. We went back to her apartment and put in a movie and talked for a while. Then, Sonya and I got into an argument about the Golden Girls. She bet me a bottle of jager that Bea Arthur was Blanche, and I said Bea Arthur was Dorothy, and Rue McClanahan was Blanche. I took the bet and immediately looked the show up on imdb.com. So now I have three bottles of jager, and I paid for one. Around 4:30, we take Jesse and Dave home, and (long, dry spell in the story, short) Cassy gives me a ride home around 5:00. In an interestingly romantic end to the night, she and I sit in her car kissing and fighting the fact that I had to get out of the car and neither of us wanted me to. But I had to, so I did. I'm glad I did, because it ended the night without any sexual overtones.
I got up this morning, and went to breakfast at Foxes with everyone. The previous night's flirting left me hyper and in a great mood. We went to graduation and yelled at Dave and Toby when they walked. I'm going to crash like Windows ME in a few minutes. What a great weekend.
The end.
