hi, its Dazu. Im glad you had a good birthday! Sometimes traveling with a child can be really difficult.. I always try to be supportive especially on an airplane. One time, i was on a plane and there was a mother with a toddler, and man, she was loud. She cried, cried, and cried the whole time that everyone actually made it clear that they were bothered and there needed to be something done, but i told the mom that I was a preschool teacher and I am okay with it, and if she needed help in any way i would. So for the whole entire flight, I kept the baby entertained so the mom could eat, or go to the bathroom, and held her and walked around a bit so she could relax. The plane shook a lot as we were landing, and she had never experienced the turbulance before so the mom got sooooooooooooooooooooooo terrified and she was hanging on to me. I am so used to flying and I thought if I showed her even a bit nervousness, it would make her feel worse, so I told her it is normal and the plane will not drop or anything. Yes the shake was probably the worst one Ive had, but she kept saying We are gonna die, and my husband is not here=== stuff like that, so I held her hands and hugged her, and when we landed, she started to cry and thanked me for the whole time I supported her. We chatted for good time after we got off, and she sent me off to another flight!!
