I found my camera again.
Not that I had actually lost it. I had lost interest in a lot of things over the past few months, such as camera and swimming and gardening. I feel like I am coming out of a mini-haze over the past week and a half. It is prolly due to the fact that this last week, was the first week in over two years that I have slept at least seven hours a night, uninterupted. Sleep is huge. There is no 'mommy brain', there is only severe sleep deprivation.
Last friday, we took our house guests to a local attraction, Hakone Gardens. I hadn't seen them since my mom dragged me to them when I was ten or so. It is an amazing place. I loved it. Corrin loved the Koi pond, she just sat next to it, attention totally rapt in the fish for 35 minutes. I decided to take some pictures, despite it being about the worst time of day.
I hadn't seen the purple and orange variety of koi before. I am used to seeing the
gold, white and red sorts.
