One test down, one to go
Yes! I passed the written exam! Woo hoo, I'm pleased about that.
Also got my notice for the practical exam, it's going to be on June 3rd. Only three weeks away, eeeeek! I must start practicing again, and get someone to commit to being my live model; hmmm, that may be a challenge. I should ask my classmates first; they haven't even taken the written yet, so I know they won't be at the practical exam. If none of them are willing to be my model, I guess I can go back to school and ask one of the current students. Must start this process this week.
I realized today that I haven't done one person's hair since I graduated; this is not good. I am the only gal in my class who isn't either working in a salon or working out of her apartment. I'll lose what little skills I have if I don't work on heads even occasionally. As much as I hated working on clients at school, I do find that I miss cutting hair. Yes, I think about hair, now; it's odd. So, I guess I need to find myself a part-time job at a salon. And cut my friends' hair; Mr. FVG wants a haircut but we never get around to it when I'm at his place. I'll bring it up again this weekend; he's looking a little scraggly.
