Clutter ain't my bread and butter
In the past few weeks, I have needed to find my birth certificate and my Social Security card. A few preliminary searches through the miasma of my one-room home yielded nothing (why can't Google come up with a search function for my apartment??); so I decided it would be smarter/quicker to apply for new copies of both. Got the birth certificate near-immediately at the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (heh!); the SS card should come in about 2 weeks.
Needless to say, I found BOTH last night, while I was searching for yet another piece of documentation. Which, of course, I did not find; ain't that just the way it goes?
