I stayed and talked to the other man until the paramedics arrived. He was trapped inside the upside-down car. I couldn't move him, even if I could have I wouldn't have, for fear of a neck injury. I just lay on the ground beside his window, I lightly rubbed his back and told him we were there with him, help was on the way, and that he had to stay awake. I don't know if he lived.
I've thought about calling the hospital and asking if he lived but I'm not sure it would be appropriate.
