Oddly, I didn't have a lot to say about either episode of NCIS. I liked them both, of course, and I still love all the same characters that I did last week (Tony! Gibbs! Hetty! Callan! HETTY!), but.....yeah. Guess I'm not feeling very motivated or something.
So, let's go with a list:
1 - While I have made it quite clear that I'm a big Tony/Ziva 'shipper (please refer to icon), Gibbs/Ziva runs a close second. And not in a romantic way, because ew.....just in a "pairing I love to see onscreen" way. So while there seemed to be minimal Tiva interaction in this episode, I could deal with that.
2 - Love the ongoing thread of the team being terrified to answer Gibbs' phone for any reason.
3 - Especially loved the fact that Ducky was all "I don't give a CRAP about the investigation, I care about you, so sit down and tell me what happened." Aww. Ducky wins all.
4 - Moving on to LA.....it's been awhile since I've laughed as hard as I did at the whole origami swan/frog/duck conversation. I can't even explain it....it's just something you'd have to watch in order to fully understand the humor. I know I say this every week, but I had no idea that Chris O'Donnell was so damn GOOD at being completely deadpan. He's like a little kid, just poking away at Sam, until - much like a little kid - Sam breaks and threatens to punch him in the face. They do this several times an episode, but it hasn't gotten old at all.
5 - The ongoing Facebook discussion was made of awesome. Vance is Eric's Facebook friend! And he congratulated him on his milestone! I knew they'd tie Hetty into it somehow (she watches Youtube videos, of course she has a Facebook), but I didn't expect Vance to get in on the action. Though yes, the fact that Hetty leaves Eric a message in Greek every day, totally stumping him, is awesome as well.
6 - Hetty trying to save Kensi from embarrassment - aww! Yes, she will kill her team members if they stain their wardrobe, but she'll try to get Kensi's back after an inner-office walk of shame. Again, I say this every week - but Hetty rocks my world. Who would have thought I'd love Linda Hunt so damn much?

Random note: Just watched my first episode of Leverage (not THE first episode....probably one of the more recent ones). I actually liked it a lot. I've always been somewhat "eh" about Timothy Hutton, but he was really good. And of course, Christian Kane, the reason I decided to check out the show....well, I'm totally okay with that eye candy. I liked Parker and Sophie and Hardison and....crap, I kind of liked everybody. I'll definitely check it out again.
