Dear Alice,
February is a brutal month, is it not?
My writing's picked up in pace. I'm able to churn out a song in one or two sittings now. Unfortunately, I think most of them are weak. I dunno. I'm critical *and* fickle. I haven't touched The Distance since I re-decided it needs another verse.
Anyway, here's today work.
Today's work was written in one day to a brilliant song by Pinback - "Non-Photo Blue". I love the story that fell out of this. PLUS the brilliant chorus line. I stumbled on that one too.

**Sociopathic**
He's got not much to say/Video games. Videos played.
I miss those wasted days/I won't get back. I wanna go back, yeah.
Stare at the cars that pass/Want 'em to crash. I wanna see action.
Hang up, ignore the phone/Callin' me back. He's calling me back, yeah.
Don't you forget/That the living intent/Is hard to find/When you're living a lie x2
She says she's done with men/I don't get that. I don't get that.
She saw me swear his name/Pores react. Hidden attack, yeah.
Good luck, m'not giving his stance/Callin' me back. She's calling me back.
He looked for better romance/Three years passed. Not even a glance, yeah.
Don't you forget/That the living intent/Is hard to find/When you're living a lie x3
Don't you forget/That the living intent/Is hard to find/When you're hidden inside
*instrumental*
We got too much to say/Living abstract. Sociopathic.
We thought we'd gone insane/But I came back. Good to be back, yeah.
No point in goin' that way/'Less you get back. Considerate traffic.
I learned a lot that day/Nevermind that. Nevermind that, yeah.
Don't you forget/That the living intent/Is hard to find/When you're living a lie x4
