It was apparently National Women's Day today, which I celebrated by wearing a skirt into a hardware store and being treated like I knew nothing about power tools. I guess that'll have to wait for Hooray For Gender Equality Day, whenever that rolls around?

And why not a pointed review of women in kids' media while we're at it? By way of brni.
(Glad to see someone else poking this subject with the mocking stick critiquing it with humor and good sense. Sarah Haskins, while great, cannot be everywhere at once, mocking every aspect of the portrayal of women in western media. There is just too much fail to mock deprecatingly in one lifetime. Even if you limit it to just the yogurt commercials.)
