Mrs. Birbiglia
Blessed, blessed Saturday. I've been waiting for it all week, but now that it's here, it's kinda anti-climactic. I was in bed by 10:30 last night and awake by 8:30 this morning. I feel well-rested, but sore, because anytime I sleep in, I wake up sore in the morning.
There's nothing interesting on the docket for today. I'm going to try to donate the crap in the backseat of my car, get an oil change, and probably shop for more clothes (since I nearly gutted my closet last weekend of all the stuff I don't wear anymore or doesn't fit me).
V-Day is coming up and I still don't know what I'm getting for Penguin. I want it to be something special, that has meaning behind it, not another video game. I hate buying him video games. All he does is play them and trade them. I want something with staying power. Anywho...
I've got some planning to do for school. I don't want to end up sitting in bed all day like I did last Saturday.
Oh, and one more thing.
Adam and I had a funny conversation last night. We were watching FNSU on Comedy Central and Mike Birbiglia was on. I mentioned how cute he was and that I'd love to be Mrs. Birbiglia. Not married to Mike, but I just like his last name. I would love to see my students try to pronounce my last name...Birbiglia. Adam just grunted and said that my students would give up and call me Mrs. Big. Jerk. He loves to ruin my fun sometimes. (o:
