Domestic Goddess
Today went swimmingly until 11:00 this morning.
That was when the AC cut out again. For the 50th time this year. I spent the rest of the day wrangling bored, tired, and thoroughly uncomfortable 9th graders into doing their work.
That was when my computers shut down. For the 50th time this year.
When it rains, it pours.
I had a lovely evening at home with the Penguin. We made pizza, watched Scrubs, did some laundry, did some dishes, took out the trash, cleaned the kitchen and then he headed off to Cole's for some Smash.
I made a meatloaf and froze it for later this week.
I am domestic goddess, hear me roar. Rrrowr!
P.S. My new favorite haunt? The CVS on the corner of 9th and Creighton. It's right around the corner from my house, they have almost everything I need and the best part? They are open 24/7. So I can stop by every morning on the way to school to get my 99 cent Pomegranate Green Tea.
