And I am a BLOODY WIZARD:

This is the test clip to see how the background works with the green screen chroma and the cgi tracking of the glowing orb on the STAFF OF SANITY!
In the full commercial I shall be appearing from a lightning bolt, casting several fireballs, levitating a camry, turning a truck different colours and teleporting away. I also did a version of Michael Caine for shits and giggles.
Brent has done an incredible job with the effects already... oh and we fixed the muffled audio and added a belt with a re-shoot.
Jon McKee has predicted that we'll get an Addy for this already. I'll get writing and talent credit, which is cool. If we win one or not it's been a blast.
Hopefully Rusty will like it enough for us to make sequels. As much as I love my job in Engineering, helping write this and getting to ham it up has been the most enjoyable thing I have done for WJHG. I honestly think that being able to do this full time could be one of the best jobs on the planet.

This School Board shooting has been a double edged sword. on one side I had two good friends in that room, one person on the board, Steve Moss, who was shot at twice and my live truck Operator, Zach, who somehow kept the camera rolling. Knowing how close they came to death, especially Steve is mind boggling.
On the other side of the coin I worked with MSNBC and gave them my live feed which went live on national network through them, and also went on air in China, New Zealand and Australia. The best part is my mum got to see my direct work in England by watching the news conference on MSNBC.com. It's only the third time Mum's been able to see the fruit of my labours back home.

The Christmas tree and lights are up. Gabe's doing a pretty good job of not destroying them.
