I heard the news yesterday that the SCOTUS had, in a 5-4 decision, approved same-sex marriage nationwide.

And I heard it early enough that I got to tell a few people about it first. That was pretty awesome.

It is entirely possible that Judge Walker is my new hero. He's got a knack for seeing past the fluff of Proposition 8 supporters.

It's true that I was raised in a conservative environment, and that I am generally a conservative person, politically.
