Are you the car I fell in love with?

Sometime ago I bought a car, in fact the Puma that you see in my userpic. Since then we've had our ups and our downs but generally life has been good if not great (within a couple of days of me buying her she didn't feel as tight as she used to). Recently though it went from good to godawful and I finally learnt why today. You see I had discovered to my alarm that after having started to wobble violently at any sort of speed she had then started to make grinding noises, especially when I braked and was getting how shall we say... Just a little dangerous?

Anyway I decided I couldn't live with it any more and also I had promised Aggy to look after her (unlike my last poor car) so I decided to have her serviced. Good thing as well! It turns out that the caliper for the right front wheel had come loose and had caused the brake disk and brake pad to stick together - in fact weld together would be a better description - with the result that that entire brake wasn't working. Having gotten her back now I have to say she's like a brand new car, she drives better than she ever has and just makes me grin with pleasure so much so that I don't even mind so much the horrific cost of the operation!

I love my car :)
