Post Pride Thoughts (In brief)
Just to say I went to Pride today.
It was in parts (1) Fun, (2) Wet (3) John Barrowman (plus John Barrowman smooching on stage with his b/f!)(4) Weird and (5)Cancelling Doctor Who!
Yep I and a whole bunch of queer Who Fans sat/stood in the rain all frickin day to get to 10 to 8 in the evening to have some absolute sh*te tell us in a terribly flippant way that there would be no doctor who and we could all piss off.
I think we could have lynched someone except that being attacked by wet angry queer who-fans is like being attacked by a soggy kitten - it ain't gonna scare anyone and in fact might just leave you going "ahwww cute".
Barring that though it was a good (if surreal and terribly terribly wet) day - I have loads of Pride swag although was unable to bag Kate a Pride window sticker as the lady who did have rainbow stickers (yep there where a lot less stalls this year) didn't have any as she hadn't had her stock arrive on Thursday - Sorry Kate I tried!
