Hey there son!!
I went to bed right after Stella last night for some MUCH NEEDED SLEEP.
I awoke in the morning at NINE O CLOCK to ready myself for a TEN THIRTY MRI.
And sooo we went to Lexingtonnnn and we were admitted pretty soon after we arrived. The MRI was miserable. The lady, Debbie, her name was, put my arm into the tube with cushions in a position that at first, was simply rather taxing, but as time expired, incredibly painful. I had a reaaal hard time sitting still. And, at times, my thumb would twitch uncontrollably.
But to much avail! The MRI came out okay and apparently I have a fracture. Isn't it funny that it took them 16 days to figure this out?
Anywho, Debbie tells us to go upstairs; she thinks Dr. Hedequist is in the building, as he works at both Children's Boston and Children's Lexington. She was wrong, so we made an appointment with a Dr. 'Bay' (he was Asian, so it's probably spelled different). Unfortunately it was for 1:00, so we had to wait an hour.
We went out to lunch instead of just sitting there. To the Burlington Mall, more precisely. I took 20 dollars out of my mom's bag and asked if I could buy a new DDR pad since my old one now has a defunct left arrow (funny coincidence :P). She was all, "nooo I need it for the mortgage" but I was just like "PSHT W/E" and she let me have it.
But I had to get my pad at GameStop across the street, so we drove over there and she ate at Wendy's. I got chicken strips.
We drove back and signed in, and were admitted on time once again. Dr. Bay was kind of a quorky guy too, but in a much better way than Dr. Hedequist. Once again it's not really something you can explain in text. He was maybe kind of overly gentle in the way he talked and gestured, as if he works with very young children all day long.
But anyway, we went through all that business just to be told that there's nothing to do about it but let it heal and stretch it and stuff.
We drove home and I played DDR, and after some INTENSE TRAINING I beat Burning Heat on Heavy.
Hooray.
