At like 4ish on Saturday Jen came over and we chilled for a while then went to the 99's with Sonny. After eating My mom dropped Sonny off and we drove up to NH, even though it was kind of crucial that I got sleep that night - I had to wake up at 7.
But anyway after MUCH CHILLING we went home at like 10ish. I did laundry and readied myself. Probably fell asleep at 1.
Eddie showed up 15 minutes early. I didn't get a chance to shave, and I forgot my arm brace (haha), but all was good.
We played Kirby in the car and got there maybe an hour or so later.
We sat in the lobby for a while waiting for something or other to happen, whilst also playing Kirby, and eventually we decided to go to the arcade and try out DDR. I was upset to find that both of the DDR pads had a defunct up arrow. For shame.
Anywho, I played some games and stuff, and then Eddie found this game - "Pirate's Revenge" - in which he would eventually accumulate 14,000 tickets. In case you are not familiar with the ticket currency, that is what one would call an "assload of tickets." The machine glitched out once when the ticket count went over 999 (please call the tendant. please call the tendant. please call the tendant...) and it ran out of tickets once or twice.
Eddie failed to keep his tickets orderly; the monstrous pile of them just VOLUMIZED, and as he carried them down the stairs and towards the ticket counter he really just appeared as a giant ball of tickets with legs AND THENSOME.
Eddie wanted to save up the tickets and get some other stuff later, so he just got a small, 600 ticket chess game for me and we went off to the food court. I got a slice of pizza, and he got chicken.
After the food we went back to the arcade and cashed in 1000 tickets for quantity 2 of the most amazing items on this earth - pufferballs. They are round, very squishy, rubber, balloonish balls with hundreds of tiny little rubber cilia-esque tentacle items protruding from them.
Soon Eddie called his mom and asked if our suites were ready, which they weren't. So we just went up the elevator to floor 15 and waited in a little lobbyish room, chucking the pufferballs at eachother and playing Kirby and whatnot.
Eddie's mom is apparently tight with some of the Foxwoods staff, so this lady - Cheryl Anne, I want to say - let us stay in a random room while we were waiting for our own. Eddie and I played chess in there, and I think after a while we just left and went back to that lobby room and played Kirby.
There were two other people that came up with us besides Eddie's grandma and her friend, and they were Vinny and Eileen. They came in a separate car and were staying in a separate room, but the trip in general was together. To get to the point, their suite was ready before ours was so we stayed in theirs until ours was ready.
On the side of the suite that contained the bed, Eddie and I took our two pufferballs and waged war against each other. Or just hucked them a lot. THEY ARE THE SAME.
Aaaand then we lugged all our stuff off to our own suite. I believe soon after this Eddie and I went downstairs and obtained eight more pufferballs from the arcade. The guy behind the desk, Aubrey, I believe his name was, was quite a funny man. After we asked for the pufferballs he was like, "...EIGHT PUFFERBALLS?! ... HEY, LAVEDA! EIGHT PUFFERBALLS!" and well it was the best and most hilarious moment of probably forever.
We went upstairs with our newfound treasure, and waged utter war against each other. It was so much fun. Pufferballs are perfect for throwing at people.
Afterwards, we went downstairs to the indoor pool and swam. The pool allows no one under 16. This is no issue for me, but Eddie is only 15. We got questioned twice, but both of them believed us.
All we really did in the pool was wade. I can't really swim with my arm. After staying in the pool for a while we went in the hot tub, or as it was called the "whirlpool." 'Twas nice.
We got back upstairs, and I think we just played Kirby for a while. Since we did a lot of the same thing at different times of the day, it's hard to remember in what order it occured. But anyway, after this Eddie suggested we have a squirt gun fight. His mom had taken two small squirt guns with her.
As you could imagine, this just became an all-out war. We went insane all over the place, and it was awesome.
Later we got room service. I got a chicken ceaser salad and it was kinda bad. The chicken was dry and hard.
We watches Spiderman 2. I loove that movie.
We went to sleep at 1-2:30ish.
I woke up at 10 when my cellphone alarm went off and I took my pill. I thought it was like, way earlier than that, because the shades were closed in the room so I couldn't see outside. Anyway, after that I went back to sleep. I was tiired.
And then the lot of us woke up at 1. Eddie's mom was like freakin' out. She couldn't BELIEVE we had slept that late.
She ordered breakfast. I got a bagel. Before it arrived Eddie and I fought the last boss in Kirby. And then we ate. Eddie got pancakes, and he said they were bad. They made him unhappy. Then I showered or something.
We went down to the arcade and Eddie got more tickets. Now, this is the amazing part. A few other people started racking up tickets from the thing after we were done, and the machine got shut down. Eddie, myself, and others obtained so many tickets from this machine that we got it shut down.
We left our mark on the freakin' place.
Anyways, with the large remainder of our tickets we got a 7,000 ticket poker set and one more pufferball.
We brought it up to the room and PLAYED MORE KIRBY and HAD SOME MORE CRAZY PUFFERBALL WARS. In case you have not noticed by now the majority of our trip was spent doing this.
Soon after we went down to the food court to get pizza/ice cream for a late lunch kind of thing. My stupid braces were bothering me, so we went to a convenience store type thing and looked for gum to cover them up with. Turns out the casino doesn't sell gum, so I just bought some old penny candy for FOUR DOLLARS. It had one of those wax bottles with the syrup inside, so I tried to use that, but to no avail. So after looking in a few other random stores we went upstairs to our room and asked Vinny for some gum since we saw it in his suite the day before, and he gave us some. Woohoo.
And then I think maybe we had a pufferball war again!??!
We went downstairs and got some chicken.. And then back up to the room yet again.
We played a series of strange games (Ultima Chess, some random tactics game using poker chips) and then Eddie's mom got us room service ice cream.
I did not fall asleep until like 4 AM, mostly because everyone was in our room until 2 AM squabbling about their silly Foxwoods points.
And then I woke up at 10 AM and couldn't fall back to sleep.
I took my acne pill and showered and whatnot and when Eddie woke up a while later we left.
On the car ride home I got some slush thing from Dunkin Donuts. Eddie got KFC.
Aaand I got home and I tried to play DDR but my left arrow wasn't working much to my dismay.
Okay anyway Rich asked if I wanted to do something and we decided that Eddie and I would ride our bikes to Simmard's and he would walk there. We met up just on time. They got food but I had eaten bagel bites so I was all set. Afterwards we went to Market Basket for a minute to get drinks.
We went down to the lake. I wanted to ditch my bike so I gave it to Rich, and somewhere in the transition my seat got ripped off.
We played on the swings and stuff and then Eddie started talking about going to Square One Mall. So Rich departed since he had to go somewhere tonight, and Eddie and I headed back.
We got to Eddie's but we couldn't set up any rides. It was just Kim, Eddie, and me going. John, Sonny, and Steve were seeing the Skeleton Key. Lauren was there. ahhh.
So yeah, we couldn't get rides so I just rode my bike home. I'm tired anyway.
Oh, and Eddie and John have officially declared "not friends" over the whole Vycky situation, which I don't care to explain at the moment if I haven't already. Huh.
