Onew sat back from the table, examining his work.
Very good, he thought to himself.
He then felt his face being covered by warm, soft hands. A grin found it's way onto his face as he grabbed the hands and hugged his girlfriend.
Suddenly, he remembered the card on the table, quickly grabbed it and sat on it.
"What was that?" She asked questioningly.
"N-nothing you need to know about!" Onew stammered, nervous that she might find out what it was. It was a surprise.
She looked at Onew and shrugged, smiling. "I'll find out later."
Feeling relieved, Onew quickly suggested that they go out to eat. He got up, card in one hand and her hand in the other, walked toward the door - and slipped. Face first, onto the cushion he was sitting on.
The was a silence and "PWAHAHAHAHA!" Onew's girlfriend erupted in laughter, trying to help Onew up while he rubbed his nose in pain.
"You're so clumsy, Onew oppa!" She fought her giggles that were filling the room, as Onew grinned, glad that she forgot about the card. I'm going to surprise her tonight! I'm going to make up the time we couldn't spend together.
After she finally calmed down, she pecked Onew on the cheek. He looked at her, surprised.
"Saranghae, Lee Jinki." She winked and grabbed Onew's hand.
"I'll take you up on your offer of treating!"
Onew blinked. I'm treating? Oh well, anything to make her happy. He smiled to himself, I love you too.
After leaving a note for the remaining SHINee members, they set off to the restaurant.
Little did she know, Onew already had everything set up.
What is going to happen tonight? She wondered. And what was the card he was hiding from me?
They entered the restaurant, Onew leading her to their seat. When they were deciding what to order, the lights suddenly went out. Frightened, she tried to grab Onew's hand, but he wasn't there. "Oppa! Where are you?" Panicking, tears started to form in her eyes.
Music started to play The lights flashed back on, and Onew was on the restaurant stage, singing 'How Deep Is Your Love?'

There was a ring on the card, taped on with scotch tape and the card was written with a colored pencil. She started to cry, nodding and laughing at his dorkiness. As Onew walked toward her, he felt an incredible feeling.
As long as you are with me, I can look forward to everyday that comes.
