How quickly a week can go from bad to worse

Kale is at the emergency vet. He started crying and hiding and exhibiting issues using the litter box at 12:30 this afternoon - conveniently thirty minutes after all the normal vets close for the weekend. We got him in within two hours, but were told that he's completely blocked. They have to keep him for an unknown number of days, doing blood ( Read more... )

Is this the same one who had the issues last time? (When I first saw your LJ entry, I seriously thought that somehow my web-browser had an insaenly old cached version of your LJ). Do they think that he's got some long term issue that's repeatedly giving him grief.

My guess is that the issue last month never totally cleared up. I really don't have any idea yet though, but I hope he doesn't need to go on a special diet. He's such a picky eater, and it won't be fun.
