Random wake up
I have a re-occuring wake up in the middle of the night panic moment where I feel like Mischief has died on the bed beside me. It happens once every 8 months or so, but last night was worse then normal, because when I did my standard reach down and pet her to get a reaction, she didn't react. Even when I started scratching her chin, she didn't move, her whole body was limp. It wasn't until I sat up and turned on the light that she finally responded and looked at me like I was insane for having woken her out of such a sound sleep. If I'm this bad with my cat, how many times in a month am I going to be up looking into a crib once I have children? Yeesh, I know my cat is 13 or 14, but she's still healthy and has shown no indication that she's on her way out yet, so I don't know why I'm this paranoid about it.
