Myst 5, Santa's Secret, and the New Year

Myst 5: End of Ages: Ok, that was sad. I finished Myst 5 in less than 10 hours. 10 HOURS!! What the hell?? I was sorely disappointed. They animated the characters rather than using footage. They had rather easy puzzles, the story was loose at best without really any sort of conclusion. I mean, even Revelations had pretty good story though it threw back to the first game and relied on the more hokey "lessons learned" story. Dammit, End of Ages was almost nothing but Hokey Lessons. And if you hadn't read any of the books, you'd have no freakin' clue what was going on at all story wise so all you got was easy puzzles and bitchy, melodramatic characters.

*sigh* Uru should have gone public. That's all there is to it.

Work: So, back to work. Getting ready for Court next week with only a bit of time to prepare.

Secret Santa: We had a get together for a few peoples from BSC last night. It was very good and Hans got me a little gift for the Holidays. Whats better than books and chocolate!! ^_^ We also did our bit of Secret Santa Tuesday for a couple of folks. Got a nice tin from Lynsday and gave Jeremiah some philosophy books and a pocket calendar. Most fun. I also got some NYC stuff and bath stuff and some jewelry from peoples online.

New years: Yep, the big one is coming up soon. I'll probably spend the whole time over Jeff's this year rather than party hopping like I've done before. I'll try to get Jen Jen to goth me out because its a goth themed bit.

In other news: Need to get Jessy's package out now that I have an alternate address.

Geek: Looks like we're finally getting some shit together for the Circus, though I'm not seeing a thrilled James yet. Hopefully we'll at least have a group that can roleplay even if the rest of the venue is at court. I still can't believe they are getting Nadia to get her 3 year old to travel with them!? *sigh*

Meaningful Phrase: "Taoism is not a pagan religion, you banjo-strumming Ren Faire reject!"
