Just a little reminder that the Green Corn Moon Art Show is this Friday at 6pm until about 10ish. Its free to see, but there will be a cash bar, bake sale for the Witches' ball, and of course art for sale, so you might wanna bring a little cash. It should rock.
I've spent most of the week getting ready for the Show and Kelli's wedding Saturday. I think we've got everything covered but for a little cooking for the wedding and a little matting for the show. I'm a bit nervous, giddy, and excited about it all. Oh, and figure out what to wear to the show. My parents will be there, so a bit on the nervous side. Especially after Jonsey's encounter with his mother. It reminds me that I'm still on a brink with my own parents.
On a side note: Sunday, me and Jonsey returned to something we've not done in quite some time. We stayed up until 5am, drinking, talking, randomly driving about town, walking through Rhodes park. It'd been way too long since we'd done the sort. I believe the last time we sat on our cars shortly before Highland Coffee was closed for good, talking about philosophy and utopia and looking over the city.
No leads still on the job front. I did talk to Diane McCrary about the position at Carraway and she's gonna put in a good word for me. UAB hasn't called me back, but I did put in for a case management job at TASC again. It still amuses me that JBS has yet to return a single call I've made.
