Going Va-kay
We're leaving for Wildwood in a few hours. We'll be back on Sunday. I still need a shower, and Boy needs to go to school and some stuff needs to be done like litter boxes and rabbit cages and all that. Dad will be taking care of the monsters animals until we get back. It won't be warm, but now it looks like at least it will be sunny. So I may be able to take the laptop down to the deck and work by the sea on my WIP. Hopefully I'll come back with many more words than I have now.
If I were in a position to afford such things, I would buy a place there, in Wildwood Crest, by the ocean. There is the most beautiful condo building next to our hotel - it's huge, you can see it from the causeway at the other end of the island - that has a private beach and lovely balconies. I'd want to have a place there. Not a whole house, because then that would be just another house to take care of. The apartment/condo would be a perfect getaway. A place to sit and watch the sun rise over the Atlantic and breathe easy. It's a nice place to write, without the distractions of everyday life.
