I've finally got an entire day off from both jobs! I feel sort of stunned and dazed but it's been a very long week. Along with having bronchitis again, which is almost over with, the show is doing incredibly well. Joe, who has ended up being one of the director's and producer's favourites, has been window dressing at a huge store in Greenwhich Village called "Forbidden Planet". I believe there's one in London, too. Anyway, he sat in the window and did his demon act for three hours and lots of pictures. *Sings "How Much Is That Demon In The Window?" in her head.* He then got interviewed and mentioned specifically on a local morning TV show called "Good Day, New York", to which I've left a link here....

He also got his picture in the New York Daily News! Then his girlfriend put his picture and the interview up on her blog and now he's got fangirls! *Falls over laughing* The guy's oblivious to all of this, by the way. He just complains that the damned lycra costume is soooo hot with all the padding he has to wear underneath. Yes, that's padding. He does not have a beer gut! As his character, he has to pull out his guts and mail them to the living. Ummm...we can't figure out why either. Only the producer, Tim Haskell, seems to know.
Anyhow, I wanted to keep you guys updated and just brag a bit about Joe. I'm really proud of him at the moment. Oh, by the way, our director, John Harlacher, made a movie last year called "Urchin". It's not bad considering the budget he had to work with. It's sort of a fantasy concerning a bunch of people who live underground in the subway tunnels of NYC, which they call Scum City. And a little boy tries to follow a map out of there to paradise. There's a lot of violence and weirdness, but the big thing is that it was actually banned in Malaysia!!! Supposedly it's a threat to society. I don't quite see that but I guess it could be because it's an anarchy of sorts, not following the laws of those above ground. (If you want to watch it at uni, Nuri, let me know and I'll send you a copy. Don't worry, I don't expect you to bring it home.) It's also available on Amazon.com. So that's it!
*Collapses in an exhausted, wheezing heap*
