Last night was amazing. Meredith and I left around 6 for the Dashboard concert. At first we didn't really know how we were going to get to and from the concert. Her parents drove us up there and then some guy gave us pamphlets about how everyone is going to hell. They amused us until the concert started.
We saw Jen and Joe, they were in our section. That was random, but cool. We came in during the first act, Ben Lee and the lady apparently led us to the wrong seats, she came back in between sets and had us move up a row. Then Say Anything came on, they were really good. Gotta say though the lyrics "I called her up and she touched herself (repeat a couple times) and I laughed myself to sleep" sort of threw me off...that is until Chris put the chorus of that song into one of his and sang it all pretty-like. haha. We found Maddie and her friend who were in the other section, it took awhile for Maddie to find me in the crowd though which was amusing. Then during our trip to the bathroom some chick kept checking herself out in the mirror, she was ridiculous.
All the girls around us were obsessed with their cell phones. But Dasboard was soooo good. We had fun, sang along to it all. I loved the whole "crowd be the stars thing" that was cute. Meredith started counting the number of times I said "I love him" in a pathetic voice. haha. Encore was Vindicated and Hands Down, that was good. I was glad he played some old stuff. We met up with Maddie and her friend Kelsey afterwards which was good. Then we took the orange line, but wound up having to take shuttle buses to her stop in Melrose. That wasn't so much fun but we made the best of it. Saw every branch of the Melrose Y and then got back to Maddie's house where my mom had been talking to her dad for about half an hour. Then me, Meredith and my mom left. Stopped at Dunkin's for dinner at around 12 because Meredith and I had yet to eat anything. Dropped Meredith off, came home and passed out after talking to some people. haha.
