I found my ring.

May 23, 2007 22:03

My ring WAS at Regina's, but Terrilee found it and gave it to me today.  How exciting!  I've lost this ring NUMEROUS times (including in the backseat of a car.  I don't know how I found it after that).  So I have my ring back.

Report cards came today.  They said they were sending them on the 24th, but I guess I either heard wrong or they decided to send them early.  No one messed up my grade.  How amazing.

4.0, still.  Hopefully next year will be a little more challenging?

Does anyone know how much you have to pay to take the AP test at the end of each semester for each subject?  Just kind of random... but I suppose I should know, since I signed up for 3 AP classes, uh.  I'm starting to wonder if that was a good idea.

This morning, I actually woke up at a respectable hour so I could go eat lunch with my grandma, mom, and aunt.  My aunt's teaching summer school this year, and today was her one day off, so we took her out to eat.  We went to Olive Garden, and it was awesome.  Gooood stuff.  Our waitress kind of freaked me out, though.
After that, I came home and hung out with Sammi, Vic, Sarah McGib, and Molly.  They were by the river playing cards.

I had my second to last lesson with Regina today.  The strangest thing (although, I should probably expect it now...) happened.  I was about 10 minutes into my lesson, then Regina got distracted and got up to do something.  She just left me sitting there.  10 minutes passed, and she still wasn't back, so I went outside to look for.  She was outside, cleaning an ice chest.  Er.  She'd forgotten she was teaching me.  Wow.  I love that lady.

After my Regina lesson, I had a David lesson.  I swear, they're like two different sides of the world.  It's all good though.  I actually played my descending chromatic at a respectable tempo today.  Wooo.

Believe it or not, Jill Swetnam, flute teacher lady, actually emailed my mom and said she would teach me.  That's before we told her I'll be gone 30 days... we'll see what she thinks about that.  She may not teach me if she knows that.  I may not be worth her time.  At least we actually heard from her.  I was surprised.  She just emailed us out of the blue.

We gave away the first kitten today.  I think it's kind of strange to give away the smallest one, but we did.  Terrilee brought Ben over to get his cat, which he's named "Benjamin Haley Walker Nannerl Dragon Dirt Bike".  It's going to go by Nannerl, the name of Mozart's sister.  He's going to be a musical genius one day, I swear.  His other cat is named "Antonio Vivaldi the Fire Cat".
