Today was a busy one. I woke up and felt so ill. Patrick called me about 2 or 3 hours after I woke up because the night before I offered him a ride to the place I was just hired at. He called me when I was half way there and told me that Mando wanted to come, but I needed $$$ for gas if I was going to be driving people around, you know. I've never asked before, but they have $$$ and I don't so I thought it was appropriate. It takes $$$ to maintain a car, man! So I went to pick him up, and I went over the curb, lol. I went over it because I was thinking of pulling into the station but decided at the last minute to turn over to the curb and went over it in the process... bad Michaela! Him and I went to pick up Mando and then we went to the inventory place. It sucked, because as I was waiting for them my fever went up so high and I was feeling like I couldn't breathe it was so high, but it went away a while later, praise God! *muah Lord* Then I dropped them off at Ross so they could go to the welfare office in Vta and then catch the bus to VC.
Then I was on my way to the welfare office in Ox. I went in and I didn't have to wait in line, because thank God everyone was helped before me (everyone was sitting down then). I turned in the necessary paperwork and then I got an appl. for Food Stamps. I'll be turning that in sometime soon.
After that, I went to OC to pick up my Engl. Placement Exam. I score all right. I received English 095 and/or Engl. 101 (I can pick which one) and I am going to take 095 because I had trouble writing essays according to all those dumb rules. I've always done rather well in English, so I'm surprised I didn't score higher, but it's college level, so that's good. Then I went to Financial Aid to turn in paper work, because I couldn't see a counselor w/o an appt. So I shall be seeing her on Tues. at 10 :)
Then I went home to rest for a bit. I was on the verge of falling asleep behind the wheel because I just had no energy left at that point, and it really sucked! I was home for about an hour, I took my DayQuil, ate, and rested for a while. I was then on my way to WalMart.
Minus the traffic getting there, WalMart wasn't that bad! I had to get some pants for work (I HATE WEARING PANTS!!!!), shoes, QTips, and some other stuff. I found 2 pairs of plain black shoes. MY FOOT SHRUNK WITH THE LOST WEIGHT!!! XoD However, I knew that after a long time of standing up my foot wouldn't feel so great, and I then found a pair too big for me... same conclusion. One pair of pants was almost $17! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?! Praise God I checked the clearance rack before I left because I found a pair for like $3 or $4 cheaper. I'm happy just as long as I save money! They're just for work, anyway. So I'm in line waiting, and this dude behind me I notice that he only has 2 things, so I ask, "Do you wanna go ahead of me?". With a little attitude he says, " Whatever, it's up to you". Skinny little jerk-hole didn't even say thank you! Luckily, karma got his butt! The woman that was now in front of him took FOREVER, muahaaha. Ty, Lord :)
Since I didn't find the right shoes, I went to the Payless Shoes Sorce a couple stores down, and no one was in there just like in WallyWorld (I tell ya, the Lord was full of merch today!) and almost instantly I found the perfect shoes! They were the kind I wanted that usually have white stripes, but this pair was all black, and it was the only pair and it was in my size. They're comfy and look dressy/casual, and they weren't too badly priced compared to the others which are like twenty-something dollars! The price was exactly $16.08. So I got errythang I needed :)
Then I came home. Whew, I was out of it. I tried to fix my windhield wiper, but in the process broke the OTHER ONE! Oh well, later a nice neighbor fixed it, bless his heart :) He said when I buy the new one he'll install it for me. Then he told mom and I a cheap but good place to get my brakes done. Oh, the Lord is good (but that's not all!). Mom came home later, we ate, and then I asked her which church she wanted to go to, and we decided on the church near the bowling alley, and a good thing, too.
The worship was awesome. People just don't stand still in that church, and that's the way my mom and I like it. I wasn't feeling very well so I was just clapping, and then I started moving one foot to the rhythm, but I wasn't dancing like I usually am. I later did, and then another song started praying, and I felt God walking towards me down the aisle. I told God that I loved Him, wanted Him, needed Him, and that I needed to be healing bc I felt badly. All of a sudden I started crying. Then I felt something hot on my throat to the point where I couldn't speak (it felt like a hand pressing hard on my throat) and then that stopped when I felt like something was burning hot right in front of my face from my mouth to my forehead. It felt so unbearable and then it went away, and I almost instantly felt better! I was later talking to my mom about it and she said, " I saw you getting touched", and I said that it felt like it was unbearable heat in the middle of my face and almost unbearable pressure on my throat." She then told me that all the people that testify of being healed say that they feel warmth when they are healed. When I say unbearable heat, I mean UNBEARABLE. I wanted to scream because it was so hot, but I guess my spirit knew it was Him. By the way, the preaching was about Man's Plans VS God's Purpose (very good!).
Needless to say... it turned out to be a good day. Tomorrow dad is coming by with $$$ for books, but I'm going to have to use the rest of it for my brakes, new wiper, windows tint, gas, and car insurance. Such as life. Hopefully I'll have a lot left over... I hope, I hope, I hope! First I have to give God 10% of it. I love you, Lor. *Muahz!*
The trials aren't over with, but He's keeping us strong and blessing us in ways. He took away $7,000 from my mom's med bills! He took another amount away from another bill, but I don't recall the price.
God bless all. "JOHN 3:16, yo"
