June Marriage Promptathon: Week 3 - Storms
My apologies for this being a little late. Anyone following my journal knows why, though praise God, everything is okay now.
So, without further ado, here are the prompts for Week 3.
Marriage is not easy. Arguments, hardships, money problems, betrayal of some kind… There’s an almost endless list of things that can go wrong. Sometimes, those problems mean the end of the marriage. But, marriages can and do survive storms, and even come out stronger for them. The storms that marriages face…that’s what the theme will be for this week. :)
Written prompt:

“To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.” -1 Corinthians 7:10-11

I was sure by now
God You would have reached down

Stepped in and saved the day

I raise my hands and praise the God who gives
And takes away
