Summary: Jin just broke up with his girlfriend and found out that the reason behind it is Yamapi. His friend Ryo is always with him.. but what happens when you fall for the person who made you hurt in the first place and the one who was always there for you? Who'd you choose? (summary sucks T-T)

The movie was still as scary as before but Ryo had made him feel brave. He felt really safe with Ryo’s hand on his. Despite the fact that Ryo had been the one to bring him to this movie in the first place, he felt oddly thankful.
“Ne Jin, Don’t you feel scared anymore?” asked Ryo.
Jin bit his lip, “Maa…Just a bit. I’m not scared anymore because Ryo-chan is here with me.”
Ryo felt his cheeks heat up with Jin’s words. He wanted nothing more than to kiss Jin’s pouty lips. He knew better than to do so but with the dark and quiet atmosphere, he could easily trick the boy into doing so.
“Jin…I’m getting kind of tired. Do you mind if I’d place my hand on your shoulder?” Ryo’s heart skipped a beat when he saw Jin nod.
Ryo pulled up the arm rest that was in between them. He pulled Jin closer to him as he placed his arm on Jin’s shoulder.
“Kimochii!” smiles Jin as he leans on Ryo’s body.
Ryo just smiles as he feels the heat radiating from Jin’s body. It felt real good to be with Jin. In fact, he felt like he could spend the rest of his day just lying down beside Jin.
Screaming, screaming and more screaming; the movie continued on but Jin had felt oddly courageous. He was really scared at some parts but whenever he felt scared he would just tighten his embrace on Ryo and he would feel better.
Ryo couldn’t deny that he was enjoying the feeling of having Jin beside him hugging him when he felt scared but he felt like he had taken advantage of Jin’s fear.
The movie soon ended and the lights came back on. Jin saw how awkward they looked with him leaning on Ryo’s chest and Ryo’s arms wrapped around Jin.
Jin quickly disentangled himself with a blush while Ryo laughed. They did look awkward but then again, they did look pretty cute.
“Jin, ikou ka?” (Let’s go)
Jin nodded and followed Ryo but there were too much people inside the theater and Jin would often get left behind.
Ryo looked back at Jin who had his head down. Jin looked so cute but Ryo didn’t like to have Jin so away from him.
Ryo took Jin’s hand and enveloped it in his. They walked hand in hand as they went out the cinemas. Giggling to himself, Jin tightened his hold on Ryo’s hand.
Both of them felt extremely happy. “JIN! RYO!”
Jin turned around and saw Yamapi. He immediately grabbed Ryo’s arm and pulled him to walk faster. He didn’t want to see Yamapi. Not NOW and definitely NOT EVER.
Ryo didn’t know what was causing Jin to react like that. Out of instinct, he turned his head back and saw Yamapi chasing after them. Only then did he realize what was happening.
“Jin, slow down. You have to face him sooner or later!”
“I choose later! Let’s go, Ryo-chan!” Jin was starting to get tired but he didn’t want to risk Yamapi seeing them. Sighing, he let go of Ryo’s arm and started to walk alone FAST.
Jin was wrong to involve Ryo in this. He knew he was wrong and he had come to realize just now what that mistake did.
Ryo started to run trying to catch up with Jin. They were both fast but Ryo was faster. He caught Jin’s wrist and pinned him in a nearby alley.
“Let go!” said Jin.
“What’s wrong? Why did you suddenly let go?” asked Ryo in a calm voice.
Jin shrugged and said, “Nothing.”
Ryo tightened his hold even more and said, “Nothing is never NOTHING. You wouldn’t let me go if it was nothing. What really happened?”
Jin whispered, “Gomen.”
Frustrated and confused Ryo pulled Jin into a tight hug, “Don’t ever let me go again! I don’t want you to let go.”
Ryo wanted to take back the words that he said but he knew that he couldn’t. Jin heard them and he didn’t want to fight his feelings anymore.
Seeing Jin cry in front of him because he lost Rie was already hard enough.
“Ryo…I. . .”
A pair of lips suddenly covered Jin’s leaving him speechless.
“I know what you’re going to say Jin. I know you still love Rie and I know that I’ll never take her place but I just don’t know what to do anymore. I can’t keep my feelings bottled up inside but if that’s what you want then I’ll just have to. . .”
Jin couldn’t think straight anymore. Ryo could barely finish his sentence. His heart ached with each word he was saying and he just left. He started to turn around and say his sorry and goodbye but Jin hugged him.
“I know I’m not worth it. Gomen. I let you go because I didn’t want to cause more trouble for you. I literally fell apart last night and you were there but now I’m making you do things that you don’t want.” Jin felt the tears escape his eyes. Ryo didn’t say anything but Jin wasn’t done.
“It’s weird I know. I know that letting you go was probably the most stupid thing to do at that time but I realized that I could never pull you with me at all times. I’ll always be left alone. Yamapi never loved me. Rie left me.”
“Jin! Listen to me, I’m not leaving you! I will never leave you. I . . . I love you.” Ryo bit his bottom lip so hard the skin could break.
Jin was shocked with Ryo’s confession. He wasn’t ready to love yet. He never will be. Rie took his heart and smashed it into pieces.
“Gomen Ryo-chan. I can’t answer you.”
Ryo smiled at Jin, “Don’t worry. I know you can’t. I’m not stupid and I won’t leave you for a reason like ‘you can’t love me’. I’m your friend, your BESTFRIEND and I won’t leave you.”
Tears continued falling from Jin’s eyes .He was just thankful for having Ryo.
Ryo touched Jin’s cheek and wiped away the tears, “Nakanai de yo.” (Don’t cry)
Jin nodded and took Ryo’s hand in his. He knew he would mislead Ryo with his actions but holding hands at that time just felt right.
“I had fun today,” said Jin.
“Me too,” Ryo looked down.
“I guess I’ll see you soon,” whispered Jin.
“Text me when you get home,” says Ryo.
AWKWARD - they both felt awkward. It was like Jin had just rejected Ryo and Jin felt really guilty about it.
Jin’s journey home was real fast. He didn’t even notice that he was already there. He just kept walking and walking.
Sighing, Jin opened the door and went back in. It felt really lonely there. He wanted company. He didn’t want just any company. He wanted Ryo.
It had been a day. A day and a night but it felt like months to Jin. The short time he spent with Ryo made him feel instantly better. It even made him forget Rie but now being all alone in his house made him miserable.
He wanted to go see Ryo. He took his jacket and headed for the door but as soon as he opened it he saw Yamapi on the doorstep.
“Yamapi?!”
Yamapi pushed the door and went inside. He sat down by the sofa and pointed towards the other sofa and told Jin to sit down.
Jin sat down and started playing with his fingers. “Why are you here Yamapi? What do you need from me?”
Sighing Yamapi stood up and sat down beside Jin, “Why have you been avoiding me?”
Jin shook his head. How can he tell Yamapi that he hated him! He hated him because he stole Rie from him. He hated him because of what happened all those years ago. He hated him because even though they are just friends Jin knew deep inside that he still had feelings for Pi.
“What is it Jin? Why can’t you tell me?”
Yamapi placed his hand on Jin’s shoulder but Jin brushed it off. “Don’t touch me.”
He was truly shocked. Yamapi didn’t even know what was wrong. How could Jin treat him like that?!
“What the hell is wrong with you?!” shouted Yamapi.
“It’s not of your business,” answered Jin.
“The hell it’s not! You were avoiding me!”
Jin stood up and headed for the stairs. He didn’t want to talk anymore. He knew talking to Yamapi was a bad idea. He couldn’t forget Rie, not yet. It was too soon.
“Jin, please tell me what’s wrong. I want to help,” says Yamapi.
Jin’s blood boiled from anger, his head wanted to explode from pain.
“HELP?! YOU WANT TO HELP?! HOW ABOUT GETTING THE HELL OUT OF HERE?!” shouted Jin.
Yamapi was taken aback. “Jin . . . what’s wrong?” He saw the tears in Jin’s eyes. He wanted to wipe them away. No matter what Jin said, he wanted to comfort Jin.
“Please Pi, just leave me alone.” Jin fell to his knees but Yamapi caught him and hugged him tight.
He hugged back. Jin was desperate for comfort. He wanted to cry his eyes out. He had forgotten about Rie with Ryo but seeing Yamapi made him hurt more.
Why does love hurt like this? Why should I fall for those who don’t love me back? I just want to be happy. Is that too much to ask?
Yamapi placed his palm on Jin’s cheek, wiping away the tears with his fingers. “Stop crying. Don’t worry about anything. I’m here with you.”
Jin nodded and leaned into Yamapi’s embrace. No matter how hard he had tried to deny it his feelings had grown and he did really need Yamapi.
“Ne, Jin do you remember those times when we were kids and people would tease you?”
“Hai. Ryo would always comfort me afterwards. Doushite?”
Yamapi laughed at Jin, “It’s because since we were young you were always crying and I didn’t know what to do.”
Jin smiled at the thought and continued to inhale the warm scent that comforted him.
“I came here tonight because I wanted to tell you one thing. Since we were young, I had been with you and I’ve kept my feelings to myself. I watched you go on numerous dates. I helped you get together with girls but there’s one thing I haven’t told you yet.”
Jin looked at Yamapi waiting for him to continue but deep inside Jin knew what Yamapi would say next and it scared him. It scared him because he didn’t know what he would say. He loved Rie, he liked Yamapi but at the same time he had felt something for Ryo. It wasn’t special; it wasn’t big but he knew that Ryo was special to him.
“Jin, I love you. I’ve loved you ever since we were kids. I’m scared of losing you. I always thought that you would be by my side. When you were with Rie, I was hurting. I wanted to pull you away from her and get you all to myself.”
Yamapi paused to look at Jin and assess him reaction. When he saw that Jin had confusion in his eyes, he continued. He wanted to erase the confusion from Jin’s mind.
“It’s fast. I know it is. You’ve only broken up with Rie. However, when I saw you running away from me this morning I didn’t know what to think. I wanted to catch you and pull you in my arms. I can’t imagine a life without you. I love you Jin.”
Jin stepped back and pulled himself away from Yamapi. He wanted to think. He NEEDED time alone.
“Gomen Yamapi, please go home first. I can’t think about it. You’re right it’s fast and I need time to think about it.”
Yamapi nodded, “Just call me. I’ll be waiting for you.”
Jin thanked him and went up to his room.
He lied down on the bed and sighed. He didn’t know what to think. He was so confused about how fast things were going. He liked Yamapi so why didn’t he say yes? Why did it have to be complicated?
He hated this and he wanted to forget. He picked up his phone and dialed the first number that came in mind, Ryo’s. ~
“Ryo-chan, I need help.”
Jin sank down on his seat; his mind was full of confusion. Yamapi likes him; he used to like Yamapi and may still like him but what about Rie? He still loved her.
Sighing Jin went up to his room and lied down on his bed. He forgot all about Ryo and his call to Ryo. He just wanted rest.
Ryo went inside Jin’s room and saw Jin sleeping peacefully. He was really worried about Jin when he received that call but seeing Jin sleeping peacefully made him feel more at ease.
